COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can’t, where flavorless canned beers don’t belong. And no matter where you drink Dale’s Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

In a time when pale ale’s are saturating the craft market, it’s easy to not be impressed by a well crafted pale ale. However, don’t sleep on this one. The balance of citrus and hops is simple, but it’s also very refreshing and enjoyable. This isn’t about hop-assault or high alcohol, it’s about being robust, drinkable and refreshing. Great beer.

just not impressed. i tried. over and over and over.. i dont know if is because of the cans, but nothing from this brewery really sits with me. It's too bad too, because I really like the company, the local brewery and the employees. The beer just don't do it for me.

Pours a clear dark amber with average carbonation and a lacy head. Aroma is strong in malt but not especially heavy. Balanced taste with a touch of sour in the middle and back. Slightly sticky mouthfeel with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

I normally don’t like hoppy beers but this one has a great aroma and very strong hit of grapefuit. Delicious!

12oz can. Amber pour with frothy off-white head. Slight haze, beautiful lacing. Flavors are bready malts, lemon, grapefruit, apricot, biscuit, caramel, pine resin and grass. Light to medium body, moderate to high carbonation, oily texture.

Special-ordered this legend. Bottled less than a month ago, so very fresh - yay! Appearance: finger length head stays around a long time and leaves plenty of splotchy rings of lacing. Aroma: Earthy, citrus, and floral hops all at once. Malty also. Flavor: reminds me a lot of Tallgrass 8-Bit (and perhaps not coincidentally, both are canned). Malty, some earthy hops, a tad watery on the palate. Also a nice "slice" of tropical fruit. Hoppier than Tallgrass in the finish; bitterness lingers nicely. Overall, despite the bitterness, this is so light that it’s actually very easy to drink. This is definitely an APA; too mellow to be an IPA. Nicely balanced.

Nice caramel color and white head. Light, pleasant grassy aroma. Nice malt sweetness perfectly balanced with a grassy, apple, floral hop finish. Medium carbonation. Very tasty and easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
