Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can’t, where flavorless canned beers don’t belong. And no matter where you drink Dale’s Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Straightforward hoppy pine and grapefruit kick. Just a no frills tasty beer. Maybe its the can or the brewers description, but something about it makes me feel like this is what Budweiser would be like in a parrael universe where craft beer was the norm.

Light earthy floral aroma. Pours clear gold amber with a long lasting thick foamy white head. Smooth medium bodied. Bitter edge on the finish. Earthy. Grassy. Not bad.

From a can at drinkstore. Big hop aroma for a pale ale but big malt flavours balnce it well. Really good beer.

Pours dark orange with medium to large head. Aroma: biscuits, oranges, lemon, with a pine tree in the background. Taste is on the malty side, but nicely counterbalanced with pine tree hops. Palate is medium. Very solid, very drinkable, very good.

Pours clear orange with medium beige head. Aroma is fresh and fruity, some mango, sweet tropical fruits, floral notes, cereals, citrus, hops. Taste is also fruity, citrus, some floral notes, fresh hay, some cedar, light hops. After taste contains more hops, flowers and little bit resin. Very nice and refreshing beer.

thick, very oily, caramel, light pine, hop is a bit muted. Taste is bitter oily orange peel, grapefruit, some yeast, not very outspoken, light caramel. Bit oily. Okay, nothing exciting, decent standard basic beer for a brewery.

On the nose has resin, melon, fresh fruit. It has a medium high body of a sweet caramel with a hearthy, meaty feeling to it. So umami. Perfectly balanced with a bitter finish.

Nice aroma of west coast hops. Piney, good. Taste is hops and golden malt. Pine and resin, but not overly bitter. A smooth finish for a pale ale. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A 12 fl oz can with a canned on date of 20th November 2015 and poured into a Mikkeller pint glass. It poured a clear copper colour with a less than two finger slightly off white head that dissipated slowly to a nice puffy layer and left nice stringy lacing. Aromas of a lot of pine and wood with a hint of citrus orange peel zest. Tastes orange citrus with a bitter piney hop in the background and honey caramel malts. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Overall, this was a decent pale ale and easily drinkable.

Pours a light hazy brown with a white head. Nose is a mix of sweet, pine, a little bready. Subtly sweet mouthfeel then the hops kick in but mix nicely with the malts. Not overpowering or too bitter. Nice lingering finish. Good pale ale.
