COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Most would consider this an IPA rather than a pale ale. To make a long and pleasant story short, what distinguishes this beer, served out of the can, is a near-perfect blend of malt and hops, with a thick persistent head, full body, and a great fresh hop aroma and flavor presence. If you doubt the superiority of the can as a beer package, this is where to come to change your mind. Pricey, but worth every penny.

Canned 5/6/2013. Poured into a Sante Adairius glass. Pours clear orange-amber with a medium orange-tan head that slowly dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is piney, with some underlying citrus and caramel. Flavor is about the same, very little sweetness, light bitterness, drying finish. Light body, some creaminess in the texture. Good, not great.

Had this from a tall boy can. Orange clear pour. Very hoppy but the floral and hoppy citrus taste shines through. Delicious. Good balance

Can. Pours light amber with a small white head. Aroma of resinous hops. Medium body with some malt sweetness upfront and a bitter resinous hop finish.

My favorite pale. So aggressively dry hopped that it almost reads as an ipa. Great hop notes and very well balanced for a very hopped American pale ale

Stovepipe can. Pours a moderately dark amber with tons of head. Aroma is sticky pine tar hops. Taste is a real nice balance of malts and pine hops. slight citrus skunk but it’s very muted. easily drinkable.

This pale ale has an amazingly sweet citrusy hop aroma. It goes down smooth with just a little bite to match the sweet flavor. A very good pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
