Commercial Description:
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume. Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can? Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can't, where flavorless canned beers don't belong. And no matter where you drink Dale's Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Oskar Blues Dale’s Rocky Mountain Pale Ale ABV: 5.5% Calories: estimated at 150 C Volume: 12 fl oz can Glass: 6 oz goblet Purchased at: West Trenton Wine and Liquor Price: 1.59 Consumed at: Home sensory first impression: Nice rippled creamy head. Beautiful color -- off white head on a golden, amber, brown, varied body. Clear, bright sparkling. Hoppy aroma and wonderful flavor of pine and citrus. Aroma: 10 out of 10 Spicy, coriander, Pine, Grapefruit, sludgy texture, clay, flowery. Visuals: 5 out of 5 Amber, brown, golden, variant body with long lasting head of off white. Nicely laced. Taste: 10 out of 10 heavy malt overtones, slightly sweet aftertaste, very hoppy bitter presence, sour in after taste. Palate: 4 out of 5 Body is medium-full. Mouthfeel is clay and mold. Texture is dull, but wonderful. Carbonation is visually present, and active. Finish is long, sweet, sour, and deep. Overall experience: 18 out of 20. I liked the uniquity of the canned delivery, the surprise of the quality, the aroma, the color, and the flavor.

Can. Pale gold and filtered. Moderate but fresh hop nose. A bit sweet and then turns bitter on the end-almost sour. A bit floral. Too carbonated, alcohol not present at all. Malty and very drinkable. Overall OK.

Can: Pour is light amber golden with a nice white head. Aroma is lightly floral with medium fresh hops. This brew was only canned just over a week ago. Hops are Very dominant in the flavor along with very floral characters. Damn fresh and damn nice. Would definitely buy again.

This beer pours a coppery color with a white creamy head that dissipates rather quickly. The aroma is hoppy, but not hugely hoppy with some malty notes. The flavor follows up on this. This is a real nice pale ale with some excellent hop flavors and great malty background. The body is medium with medium carbonation. This is the best pale ale I’ve ever had from a can!!

12oz can from a liquor store in northern Mass. Pours a hazy amber-orange with a good half inch of off-white head. Smells strongly of grapefruit/citrus hops with hints of caramel malt. Tastes like citrussy hops first, with undertones of caramel and biscuit malt. On the heavy side of medium bodied with moderate carbonation - flirting with viscosity without hitting it or losing drinkability. An exquisite APA for sure - one I’ll be drinking as regularly as I am able to. Good stuff.

Have had both on tap and in can, pours amber with a nice head, nice hoppy aroma, crisp, dry taste with a decent malt backing, finishes bitter, the beer was a bit better on tap in my experience
