Pours a beautifully crisp, clear honey amber with a tall foamy white head. Pouring just wafts hop aromas into the air. A closer smell reveals some light malt and fruit tones too. Initial taste is almost apple juice like. The finish has an excellent layered hop character that leaves just a little sweet bitterness on the tongue for a while after swallowed. Ultra smooth body.

Jul 26, 2008 Hoppy and Delish! Beer fan Dan stole that from me! I too sampled this at the Florida Beer Fest in St. Pete. I’m a big fan of the Old Chub (thanks Beer Fan Dan) and was very happy to have tried this one too.

Jul 21, 2008 Hoppy and delish! A superior American style pale ale. Sampled at the St. Pete Florida Craft Beer Fest. Very hoppy and crisp but not too strong. Oskar Blues continues to brew great beers!

Jul 20, 2008 Can. Pours an amber/brown, clear, with a small head. Aroma is surprisingly fruity. I was reminded of strawberry, raspberry, and banana Starburst candies. Flavor of the same fruits with a bitter finish. Incredibly delicious and as I said before, surprisingly fruity! Awesome APA and so drinkable.

Jul 20, 2008 Canned. Poured into pint glass, mild aromas of hops, clear and orange in color. Good straight up pale ale, some malty flavors. I enjoy that some good beers are now available from a can.

Jul 19, 2008 Pours copper with off white head. Nice citrus hops aroma. Medium mouthfeel. Easy drinking APA with nice balance of malt and hops. Good beer.
