3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can poured into a pint glass. A slightly cloudy beer with a creamy head that leaves gentle lacing. Strong hop aroma which is what I would expect when it says "a huge voluminously hopped mutha" on the can. Hops on the nose, hops in the mouth, but the malts deliver some balance. There’s a bitterness that lingers but I expect that from a beer that delivers 65 IBUs. It’s not my favorite American Pale Ale, but it’s certainly not a bad beer.

Appearance is a clear amber with small white head. Aroma is some earthy hops. Taste is on the lighter side of IPA’s, but has a good hop punch. Overall a nice IPA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml can. Clear, orangey dark golden to amber colour with huge, creamy, fairly lasting, lacing, off-white head. Biscuity malt aroma, cautious floral, yeasty overtones. Taste is moderately sweet biscuity malty, fruity hints of mango. Aseptic and phlegmatic like a Bad Religion song of the mid-90s.

Mörkt gul med ett kompakt gulvitt skum som varar. Väl tilltagen beska och spännande smaker. Tycker mig kunna förnimma lakrits. Fördomarna mot öl på burk får sig en törn, för de här är en riktigt bra öl.

This beer makes me happy. When nothing else is sounding good, Dale’s is my "go to" beer. Just superb craftsmanship, from top to bottom, this beer is firing on all cylinders. Whole palate saturation of flavors, with a finish that embarrasses most other pales.

The fruity hops give the beer a nice taste, but it’s all introvert and just too mediocre.

Pretty good hop-forward pale. Light and drinkable. Not too bitter. Full citrus and pine aromas but a lighter flavor.

355ml can. Nice golden color with a big white foam. Good aroma of hops, honey and a hint of elderflower. Mild flavor but very drinkable, just slips down your throat. Good balance between bitter and sweet and a good beer for crips or salty foods.
