4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
The beer is cloudy and golden with a tall white persistent head. Very good lacing on the glass. It has an excellent bold aroma: malty and citrusy. Taste is equally big. Nothing understated here. Medium sweetness at first but immediately overwhelmed with hoppy goodness. And the hops just donít quit. Long finish. Medium body. Overall I loved this beer. I would rate it among the top American ales I have tried.

12 oz pour from a can into a thick mug. Wow. Probably the best pale ale Iíve ever had. Nose is doughy and fruity. Mouthfeel, creamy. Perfect color and carbonation. Tastes biscuity, malty, creamy, a little citrus. Perfect level of hops. Makes me want to keep drinking more.

If I could give this beer less than zero it would still be to high, very first mouthful made my jaws water like I was going to puke. I cannot believe this beer gets such a high rating

Can from Cellar Door, Sutton Coldfield. Really nice, pithy sweet APA. Fruit peel, buttercream hops, iced jelly. Hearty, zesty. Good drop.

Keg at BD Shepherdís Bush tap takeover, London. It pours a hazy orange color with a medium white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, with notes of citrus peel, tangerine, mango, ripe apricots, grass, orange marmalade. Taste is lightly sweet and medium bitter with notes of mango, apricots, pine cones, grapefruit, citrus leaves, grass. Finishes quite dry and bitter with resinous hops. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, really good APA
