Big citrus, lemon and pine. This is a bitter one! Tasty, my first time having it and the 16oz cans made it to Southern Cali. Great find and addition to the Oskar Blues line-up for us.

This is a big boy IPA. Medium fading head pretty heavy lacing. Deep amber. Big floral hops and some white pepper spiciness on nose. Great balance for something this big could be a bit more malt to sweeten it and round it out but that’s not what this beer is about. Grapefruit pith bitterness and dank resin. Really good DIPA.

can. well, it certainly does smell like spiced apricot and orange gelatin chews. sharp resin, sweet and candy-like approach turning to a spice cabinet / peppercorn / tree sap finish. sweet from unfernentables and (I have to assume) under-fermented fermentables, it is also surprisingly watery. 97-point furniture polish.
4.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Keil (171) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 5, 2012
Pours a light amber. Aroma is filled with pine, citrus grapefruit, very fruity on the back end. Taste is all hops, with citrus and pine dominating the front. Finishes with a residual bitterness, piney as it goes down. Very bitter, resinous. Strong malt center but leans heavily towards bitter. One of the better DIPAs to come out on the market.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 sethbreaker (173) - New York, Greater London, USA - MAR 5, 2012
Grass and pine hop aroma. Grass pine and citrus on the palette with enough bitterness to cope with the sweetness of a dipa. A little dryness on the finish which is nice. Decent
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Steve_0 (1268) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 3, 2012
Poured from tallboy to a snifter. Deep orange/amber but very clear with huge, fluffy, off-white head. Aroma of pine, resin, grass, and citrus. Taste is bitter and hoppy from the start and tastes just like it smells. This is a wonderful beer and the malt is not even noticeable, which is exactly how I like my IPAs. Full body and the alcohol is hidden dangerously. Dale’s Pale Ale on steriods, for sure. This is a beer for hopheads and definitely worth seeking out.

Hops. Wow. Just hops. Possibly from Columbus. Usual DIPA. Solid as all get out. Just awesome.

On tap at Lucky Pie Pizza and Tap House. As smooth as any highly hopped DPA that I’ve had. Very nice with the za that I had as well. Very nice from the folks up in Longmont.

Draft at the Porter Beer Bar in ATL. A brutal attack of leafy hops and acidic oil is unleashed on my olfactory glands. Get past the lupulin on the savory glands, and this is actually quite an easy drinker, far too easy for all those hops. Chunky! (#4510, 2/27/2012)
