Sample at the brewery in Lyons. Comes clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of florals, pine, citrus, and malt. Taste is piney hops, floral hops, citrus, and some malt. Fairly smooth. Very nice.

The color is amber and there is nice foamy SUDS. Powerful fruity aroma and very pleasant. Very smooth on the palate. Taste is quite bitter with a drawn-out aftertaste.

16oz can, shared by Jay. Canned 7/3/12. Nice off-white head. Good lace. Darker clear amber / orange color. Super smooth texture, lighter crisp carbonation, dry finish. Really nice hop profile - resiny, grapefruit, pine, pineapple, with light caramel malts. Spicy and resiny hop aftertaste. Definitely fresh tasting. Great bitter taste, but it doesnít overwhelm the excellent hop flavor. I really like this. Awesome canned choice for a big IPA. If they distributed this where I live, Iíd be drinking a lot less Sixpoint Resin

Can thanks to big D. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A sweet very fruity nose, kind of odd, very grassy with weed notes. The flavor is very interesting as well: dank, some resin, grassy, oranges, very clean and smooth. A great brew, very unusual. Tasty!

Caramel, pine, citrus, and flowery hops in the aroma. Flavor starts sweet with a little fruit. Plenty of pine hops and some spice in the finish, with maybe a little hint of alcohol as well. Really good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can at TPSA. Nose is more minty than citrusy, though thereís definitely some guava and tangerine lurking around the edges. Pours a dark gold-brown with a light head. On the tongue: hops. And hops. And some caramel malt, and then more hops. Whatís really odd is the mouthfeel -- itís round and rich, like an old ale or a barleywine; a far cry from a ínormalí IPAís astringency. Not for the faint of heart.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can. Amber color. Amells of hops and malt with a spicy afternote. Taste is the same. Not overly hoppy like expected, well ballanced, but why is this noot an imperial ipa at 8 %?

smells and looks awesome. fresh malt and citrus hops. looks really nice in the glass. almost clear, light yellowish brown, with a 1 finger off white head a lot of lacing. Iím very surprised by the sip tho. Not a whole lot of liveliness in the mouthfeel. The hops come through big time on the nose, and they are definitely there in the immediate flavor. What gets me is there is no long drawn out aftertaste like you might get with an imperial IPA. At 8%, this is a big IPA. Iím not too big on the mouthfeel, but i am drinking out of some weird Gordon Bierch glass with some kind of bubble making imprint on the bottom of the glass... help me what is this??? Hasnít changed my overall perception of a beer yet, but maybe i pulled all of the carbonation out of this beer somehow. I think this beer is good, the balance is really close at 8 percent, because it doesnít seem too heavy or too sweet. Iím just not getting quite the true home-brew flavor Iím used to with this company on this one. I paid 14 bucks for 4 tall cans at Bev-Mo. The lady at Bev Mo was even impressed i paid that much. All I can say at that point is that itís almost cheaper than going to the bar. I like the brewery. had to try it. wonít buy it again, but not bad.
