3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Orangy color with small pale head. Aroma pine-like hops and malts. Medium-full body. Minimal alcohol presence. Flavor is expectedly bitter with nice presence of hops of the floral, herbal, and pine type. Strong malt background. Good balance. The obligatory comparison to regular Daleís would suggest it is quite similar but of greater power and less refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(can) Pours a clear dark copper color with a tall white head that takes awhile to subside and leaves good lacing. Aroma of cinnamon red hots, sweet bread dough, cotton candy, and lime zest. Herbal qualities emerge as well. Mint and bay leaf. This is a really weird combo that works well together somehow. The flavor is a little more straightforward, with the standard caramel yielding to a mid of tropical fruit that unfolds to a dry and pretzel-esque finish that is followed by a substantially dry bitterness that lasts for quite some time. Mouthfeel is chewy and carbonation is perfect. Thought Iíd be underwhelmed by this beer, but Iíve gotta admit that itís pretty good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour was light golden, frothy head. Aroma and flavor was fruit and heavy pine/herb with a touch of the onion/garlic...made me feel like there was some Summit in there (which I hate). Mouthfeel was light, yet oily at the same time. I canít really say why, but I didnít really like it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear copper pour with a fluffy off-white head.
Resinous pine and citrus hop aroma.
The flavor is resiny like the aroma. To me it is harsh and coarse, I get the same thing out of fresh Arrogant Bastard.
The body is full - a bit syrupy.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a BIG beer! Pours dark honey color with a big, thick retained head. Big aromas of pine and citrus. Flavor is intensly bitter from start to finish. Palate is oily and the finish is spicy. Very good beer.

The flavor was delicious-- full of hops and flavor. I'm not sure if it was the particular can that I got, but there wasn't much carbonation with this beer, which is the only thing I would do to improve this tasty beer.

Cans arenít too fresh out here in New York City, 4/13/12 on the bottom.
Dank nose, real dank, like someone just weeded the garden if you know what Iím saying. Great floral hop bite, with a smooth bitter linger. Lacking a bit in the carbonation, but retains that sticky frothy head I always associate with Oskar beers.
One day theyíll distribute in MN... One day. Until then Iíll be on the lookout for a fresh can somewhere outside of NYC.

Sampled at the 2012 American Craft Beer Festival. A really citrusy IPA, with a smooth, thicker texture. A really good beer.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
A copper pour, only slightly hazy. Frothy head. Mild hoppy aroma with some brown sugary sweetness. Flavor is very robust, hoppy and yet maintains a mild medium light body. The lacing is superb. The finish, potent and bittly awesome.
