3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
16 oz. can. Clear orange/amber pour. Nose holds big scallion, onion, sticky resin, leek, ramps, caramel and orange zest. Reminds me of a less complex Surly Abrasive, but still I like the aggression. Nice.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml can as a bonus. Clear perfect amber with a billowy light tan head. Not drinking it during a cold winter night but its still tasty - some great earthy and citrus (grapefruit mostly, some tangerine) hops, nice malt. Moderate carbonation, full body, fairly bitter, wet and weedlike if that makes sense, becomes a little sweet and quite dry at the end, hops coat the palate, very tasty.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Doughy khaki head over orange amber. Aroma of citrus & leather, distant honey. Flavors of grapefruit, resin, smoke & alcohol. balance tipped a toward the hops & a lighter body. tasty though.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Orangy color with small pale head. Aroma pine-like hops and malts. Medium-full body. Minimal alcohol presence. Flavor is expectedly bitter with nice presence of hops of the floral, herbal, and pine type. Strong malt background. Good balance. The obligatory comparison to regular Daleís would suggest it is quite similar but of greater power and less refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(can) Pours a clear dark copper color with a tall white head that takes awhile to subside and leaves good lacing. Aroma of cinnamon red hots, sweet bread dough, cotton candy, and lime zest. Herbal qualities emerge as well. Mint and bay leaf. This is a really weird combo that works well together somehow. The flavor is a little more straightforward, with the standard caramel yielding to a mid of tropical fruit that unfolds to a dry and pretzel-esque finish that is followed by a substantially dry bitterness that lasts for quite some time. Mouthfeel is chewy and carbonation is perfect. Thought Iíd be underwhelmed by this beer, but Iíve gotta admit that itís pretty good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour was light golden, frothy head. Aroma and flavor was fruit and heavy pine/herb with a touch of the onion/garlic...made me feel like there was some Summit in there (which I hate). Mouthfeel was light, yet oily at the same time. I canít really say why, but I didnít really like it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear copper pour with a fluffy off-white head.
Resinous pine and citrus hop aroma.
The flavor is resiny like the aroma. To me it is harsh and coarse, I get the same thing out of fresh Arrogant Bastard.
The body is full - a bit syrupy.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a BIG beer! Pours dark honey color with a big, thick retained head. Big aromas of pine and citrus. Flavor is intensly bitter from start to finish. Palate is oily and the finish is spicy. Very good beer.
