Bright, big, bodacious and beautiful. Grapefruit, pine and flowers in your face! Um, I mean aroma. Crunchy carmel malt flavors quickly followed by a bracing bitterness. And then some more bitterness and hop flavors with lightly toasted carmel in the finish. Long, luxurious and lasting. This IPA is more beer than many DIPAís Iíve had. Had to downgrade it a little for the hint of onion/grassy hops.

Pours amber with a little off white soapy head. Smells of weed, onion, catty with some musk. Really a masculine, if you will, nose. REsiny, grapefruit, onion again, really surprised at how I can taste the alcohol through this hop onslaught. Really a ton of hops here and a good dose of sweet malts. There is a body odor flavor on the hop profile and I am okay with it, but not really digging the flavor much. Medium bodied with moderate carb and a wet finish. This is a big beer certainly, but a little too far into the resin, onion, veggie, B.O. profiles for me. Probably the first big miss Iíve had from Oskar Blues.

Can. Little bit of a sour nose with nice floral and funk hop aromas to back it up. Nice medium hoppy taste with a long bitter and banana bread finish. This beer is a little on the older side cause the fresh version is a little more crisp and less bready. Great IPA but everyone knew that already.

Was hit with a beautifully realized concoction of aromas. Apple juice, grapes, and tangerine. Basically a fruit salad of smells. The flavor reminded me of banana bread. It is lightly bitter at first with a strong finish. Well balanced and light in palate makes this very drinkable.

From the can it pours a gold apricot with small head and lace. Aroma of floral hops, malt sweetness, citrus. Penetrating mouthfeel. Flavors of straw hops, floral hops, slight funky fruit, some astringency and candy sugar. Overall challenging but flavorful. A few of us did a blind tasting with 5 Colorado and 5 California big hoppy brews and this one won.

Pours a clear copper color. Large white head that lasts and leaves lots of lacing. Hoppy, citrus aroma. A nice balance of malt to the bitterness.

473 mL can. An excellent IPA that, for me, veers into ASA territory because of the wonderful, caramelly malt backbone that accompanies the big American hops. No faults.

Draft, nice orange body with a thinnish white head. Looks good. Nice aroma on this one, its a big citrus bomb. I get a ton of orange, tangerine, grapefruit.
On the tongue it has medium bitterness, which is actually quite pleasant, its not overload for the palate. Thereís more citrus, a little dankness and I canít taste any alcohol. Very pleasantly surprised with this one, I could probably drink this every day.

Amber pour with a thick off white head. Citrus and tropical fruit aroma before Iíd even poured it; malt and pine as well. Taste is orange, slightly sweet, malt, then a big wallop of pine bitterness. Really cracking beer.

Great beer. Amber appearance with a really smooth flavor. One of the better balanced ipa beers.
