3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
they claim this to be a "sensory assault" for hop lovers. I consider myself a lover of the noble hop (not actually noble hops, but the hop in general) but this is a bit much for me. pours a perfect ipa color- nice amber hue with a generous off white head. nose is great- hops, piney, citrusy- the columbus hops come through in spaces. taste is pretty in-your-face- you-claim-to-be-a-hop-lover-now-prove-it-and-love- kind of way. all the right notes are there, just not in my favorite harmonies. overly sweet and piney- maybe I am more of a cascade/ centennial girl. hard to say not being the home-brewer type. a solid ipa, but given the choice I would pick something a bit mellower. the beer on either side of this in the flight would work- g’knight imperial red or the old chub scotch.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pint can slightly cooler than room temp.; opaque orange w/ a proper head; nose just barely yeasty, with rumors of some floral and alcohol. Palate is a marriage of hops hits with some malty sweetness in the background. Pine and floral on the tip of the tongue, with the slightest chocolate/cherry on the finish. Super fantastic for my taste.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a nice dark orange out of the can, nice collar of chunky foam. Very strong, with some IPA beer notes in the background. I bought a 4-pack of tall boys last night and got too buzzed to leave a review, then bought another today. I may buy another tomorrow, god willing.

Can, picked up in Copenhagen. Dark amber, decent lasting off white head. Powerful floral, tropical fruit bouquet in the aroma, big sweet caramel, biscuit and bitter hop flavour, big body, big carbonation, big everything, loaded with flavour and a hoppy to so away at

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can, Pavilion Discount Beverages, North Myrtle Beach, SC. Dark hazy copper, thick creamy orange’ish head. Aroma heavy on fruity and spicy hops and a ton of malt sweetness. Taste is hop assault - again, fruity and spicy but mixed with a full body and a ton of malt sweetness to make this one formidable beer. Finish is short, clean, and dry. Lovely stuff.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
16oz can pours dark clear amber red with finger and a half of head. Lots of sticky sweet malty cherry and fruit, light piney orange in the nose and palate, and finishes with sticky sweet malt driven bitterness, medicinal cough drop fruit, some toast and faint hops. Too malty. Overdone.
