COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is intended to be a sensory assault for hop lovers. At 8.0% ABV, four hop additions during the brew process, and a final wallop of excessive Columbus dry-hopping, this beer is meant to say one thing: MORE HOPS! Perfect for these cool winter nights, The Deviant is a returning favorite from the little brewery in Lyons, Colorado that started the Canned Revolution!

Great amber color with a slightly off-white, thick head. Smells of earthy piney hops. Tastes especially bitter, with the typical citrusy hops but with an unexpected sweetness.

A fairly dark gold coloring with a rocky, fat, white head. I though the foam was going to just disappear in minutes, as thin as it seemed, but it got good and sticky, and clung to the sides of the glass in layers. Very toasty caramel with a smack of dark hops creates a nice full body, heavier and much more reminiscent of a DIPA. A little over the date, but still very nice. I will be sure to try again with a fresher sample! (Happy to oblige!)

Jay brought this one to the Islands for the beer share. This one is definitely of the IIPA variety, sweet, malty, yet tons of hops. After a sweet doppelbock this was good for balancing it.

Pours a clear golden amber colour leading to an off-white head. Aroma is malt, heaps of fruit, caramel, pine and hops. Taste is medium sweet leading to a well balanced hoppy finish. Really good.

Can. Pours hazy amber with an average, lacing, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, peach and piney notes. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and solid bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carb. A very nice IPA.

Bit too thin maltiness, quite robust hops, nice level of fruitiness, citrus, orange, grapefruit. Light sweetness dominated with moderate bit dull bitterness. Feels bit oily. Solid, but nothing special

"Sippin on a tall boy", poured from can a clear copper with nice thick thin bubbled head and plenty of lace. aroma was clearly the mix of hop types plus the dry hopping that made it citrus, tropical fruity, and piney all at once. The taste was a wonderful mix of hop flavors, I got the citrus, fruitiness first with some caramel and biscuit but late in the sip and into the finish it was pine resin but not overbearing, a nice pine bitterness. Oskar Blues does it again, fantastic.

Burk på Man in the moon.

Hazy orange amber, two-finger solid head and very nice lace. Hops rule the aroma with a strong tropical fruit smell up front, followed by grass, citrus, caramel and bread. Strong bitterness, with mild spiciness and biscuits that hold it up. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, and a dry bitter finish.
