4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
16oz Can from Greene’s in Atlanta. Pour’s a deep copper with an off-white head. Aroma is citrus and hops, abrupt. Taste is smooth with a slight alcoholic burn, with a "pop" of bitterness. One of my favorites!

A bit on the grapefruit side. Not a fan of grapefruits. ---Rated via BeerBuddy for iPhone.

Can at home. Nicely cloudy, murky orange colour with an offwhite, creamy head. Tropical fruity nose and taste, resinous, spruce, sticky hop profile backed by a firm caramel malty base. Not too bitter. Lingering resinous finish. Low-medium carbonation, good body.

Amber clear colour fine poring off white medium head, very good lacings. Aromas of caramel-resinous spruce notes, orange zest, damp green grass, subtle well balanced tropical fruit background develop. Elegant soft fizzyness, light slick texture and full bodied. Subtle caramel sweetness building the solid backbone of resinous hop bitterness with a fruity edge. Lasting drying bit slick finish. Excellent balance for this abv!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This IPA poured a cloudy, deep Amber colour with a smooth, cream coloured head. Scents include dough, basements, citrus hops. First swig was smooth with a wallop of hops. Not the most but a good dose. Flavours of tea, grass and a little caramel most prominent. Finish is quit bitter with tea/citrus flavours lingering.

Tall can from Chevy Chase Beer and Wine. Dark amber body with medium head. Nose is spicy and hoppy. Taste really nice up front, lots of hops with malty caramel balance. And then - boom! - more hops. Really good stuff.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
You can smell the hops as soon as you pop the can. Good, clean, earthy hops with just a hint of malt to balance it out. Very pretty dark orange color with an off white fluffy head of foam. The taste is hoppy but not bitter and just sweet enough to keep it from being one-dimensional. Nice thick palate that coats the mouth but still allows the beer to be easy drinking. This was excellent. I prefer it to regular Dale’s Pale Ale.
