COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is intended to be a sensory assault for hop lovers. At 8.0% ABV, four hop additions during the brew process, and a final wallop of excessive Columbus dry-hopping, this beer is meant to say one thing: MORE HOPS! Perfect for these cool winter nights, The Deviant is a returning favorite from the little brewery in Lyons, Colorado that started the Canned Revolution!

Pours cloudy and orange out of a can. What a great hop aroma. The beer is strong and rich, and I love it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2014 The aroma is heavy pine needle citrus hops and heavy malts totally enveloping the senses. Taste is more of the same yielding to some toasted fruitiness with a lingering balanced bittersweet finish. Abv is well hidden. The carbonation is not lacking but on the lower side of medium. A really nice autumn to winter IPA.

Pours a nice copper color with good head retention and lacing. Tastes bitter and of malt. I like it, but almost feel disappointed....I expected more.

Pours a nice copper colour with lots of white lacing and head, a nice looking beer. Slight malty aroma. Tastes of malt up front with a citrus hop background. Overall an OK beer.

16oz can. Amber pour with a white head and plenty of lacing. Great tasting IPA with lots of citrus and pine notes. A bit on the strong side but you wouldn’t know it with very little alcohol taste but it is there. One tall boy and I’m good.

Can at Cafe Sara, september 12th 2014. Amber body with a white head. Aroma of pine and grass, caramel, mild mango. Taste is sweet malty with grassy and piney hops, mild alcohol notes, ending with a grassy aftertaste with pineapple hints. Missing some fresh fruitiness in this one, suspect it’s a bit old though I find no brew date on the can.

Can. Amber gold pour with a white head. Piney hops and malt in the aroma and taste. Properly bitter as a good IPA should be.

Can from Stewart’s Wine Company December 2013. Now that is what I call a good beer. Well balanced without overloading on hops. Fills the mouth with flavour that lasts and lasts.

"Ratin beer while in line to see Tinkerbell. Enjoyed this tall boy last night. It really is like a blend of dales pale and gubna. Big juicy dank hops, especially in the flavor, with all the accompanying glorious sweetness. SO easy and smooth for a thick 8% brew. Pineapple, fruit and a little spicy in the finish. Absolutely love it!
