Bottle share as ’Oskar Blues Freedom Tickler ’, 5.8%, many thanks to Leighton for this. Yellow, slight haze, translucent, lightly sparkling, small foamy white head. Aroma is jam tart, jelly tarts from my childhood, some fake lemon. Body is light, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is bready, jam tart, metallics. Thin and watery. Flavour is just a bit washed out unfortunately.

Bottlshare at Mr Smith’s pad. Thanks to Leighton for the can. Lightly hazy pale gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light, fairly dry and crispy. Strong floral start, pinch of herb. Floral candy fruit sweetness. A dry finish sees the floralness getting even strong, slightly perfumey. Different!

Light to medium sweet flavour, with light doughy wheat bread, more white grape, lemon rind, yeast, pale bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Fairly sweet on the finish, some lemon meringue, hay, sugary wheat bread. Pretty simple, but enjoyable.
