Goodness! From the first sniff of the hops to teh last of the aftertaste slides down your throat, this is GOOD BEER. Pours a redish dark orange with a light head on top. Good aromatic aroma. taste is hoppy and fresh. Great thick mouthfeel! Wonderful bittering to the back side. I will be drinking more Gordon G’Knight!

It says imperial red on the can, but it’s more orange than red. Smells very hoppy, mostly pine and a little citrus. Tastes like a double IPA. I was expecting something with more body; it tastes like they used corn sugar to increase the ABV. It’s a decent DIPA, but I’m not sure that was the intention.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Dagreenaz (3) - Arizona, USA - FEB 7, 2012 does not count
Not much of a head just a light coaling, bright amber orange in color. Nose is hoppy, with a light smell of sweet orange blossom Unfortunately dish washer soap! Taste the nose makes you think it is hopper because it floes smooth and you catch the caramel malt in the front of the pallet then the hop opens up in the back of the pallet. It is a little heavy to have more the 1 at a time but it is very nice
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 dresden (146) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - FEB 6, 2012
This is kind of a pointless really old rating I have where I just wrote down some numbers on my phone and nothing else. Sadly, it wasn’t incredibly memorable aside from i remember paying about $10 for the can.

This beer was delicious, very potent but the alcohol is masked by the very hoppy flavor.

Coppery color with a substantial and somewhat foamy tan head. Balanced, but certainly holding a lot of hops, there is a malt and nutty flavor that comes to a strong and bitter finish.

One hell of an Imperial Red. The pour is a bright amber orange with a thick, sticky yellow head that subsides to a thin layer. A few sticky lacing spots remain on the glass. Fantastic nose, a nice resinous, spicy hop with a mild grapefruit and a toasty, caramel malt. A bit of a pine note, but mostly citrus and spiced up hop nose. My first sip is of a sweet, nicely balanced hoppy brew with a good toasty malt in the middle. The finish has a resinous, sticky gob of hops with moderate bitterness. Getting a bit of a tropical fruit note with some residual sweetness. I did not notice the alcohol at all. This is a well balanced and well rounded brew. Awesome!
