Can from Vintage Cellar. Aromas of pine and floral hop. Copper/amber color with a decent off-white head. Very smooth, near creamy, carbonation. Seems about medium in body. Lightly roasted caramel malts nicely balanced by lots of hop. Not harsh, just good. Leaves a bit of tingle behind. The finish balance is fairly dry, and the hop keeps on. Nicely bitter.

Canned. Amber coloured. Slightly unclear. Huge dense light brown to beige head. Has a very piney and citric/grapish aroma. Notes of caramel and sweets. Flavour is great. Floral and light herbal. Pine needles again and caramel in the background. Is quite citric and dry. Medium to full bodied. Has a balanced light sweet bitterness in the end. Aahhhh this is a treat. My first hoppy beer in month. Might have effected my positive rating, but who cares. This is a good one. And cannned.... Suitable as a lawnmover beer.

Moderate balanced caramel malt and spruce hoppy aroma with a small alcohol tone. Medium to full body with slick texture. Heavy balanced bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a standout brew.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2007 Bottle... This beer rocks!... Lightly hazy, very dark crimson ale with a very large, creamy, light beige head. Great retention with spotty lacing. India Brown Ale? Light chocolate and lemon rind dominate the aroma. Heavy and malty, but perfectly balanced with terrific hopping. Huge flavors of orange peel and yellow grapefruit with a lesser note of toffee. The moderately high ABV is totally disguised. Full-bodied and fizzy. Short, moderately bitter, dry finish. Very well done by the folks in Lyons, CO.
