On draft at limericks tavern in upland. Malty sweet brown sugar and hops all blend together nicely.

Very tasty, big beer. Can out poured into tasting glass.
Beautiful copper color, smooth head, thick mouthfeel.
Nice specialty malt taste, very good stuff. Tart fruits, plenty of hops. Hell ya. That’s all I have to say about that.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Leighton (3598) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2012
Can at home in Salisbury, CT. Pours foggy orange with a creamy head. Huge, rich hop aroma, orange and grapefruit, oily coconut, grass and pine, tons of caramel and toasty bread. Medium to big sweet flavor, lots of caramel, candy, demerera sugar, pine, ripe citrus, light alcohol. Full bodied with average carbonation. Warm, sticky finish, oily pine, toasted caramel. Despite the intensity of character in this beer, there is still a crisp, refreshing aspect to it, which is very nice.

Pours a amber color. Medium slightly creamy body. Aroma of pine hops, citrus, & caramel malt. Flavor of slight sweet malt, caramel/toffee, pine hops, and citrus. Finish is slightly bitter. Good IPA.

Can. Appearance is a solid coppery amber color with a thin ring of off-white foam. In the nose, it’s all hops oil, pine resin and grapefruit rind with a sweet coating of caramel. The taste is along the same lines with lots of resiny hops, grapefruit, pine and vegetal hops bitterness. Holding it all together is a candied sweet malt backbone reinforced by wildflower honey and dried tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is slightly syrupy with mild carbonation and a bitter, boozy finish. One of the better hops bombs from this brewery.

A very good IIPA or Imperial Red as the brewer calls it on the can. Pours a redish brown with an off white head. Big hop nose and taste. Not a major palate bruiser, but it is definitely a hop heads delight. Easy enough drinking and very enjoyable even it the price tag is a bit steep.

Orange-red with small white head. Aroma is flowery, lemony, a little bread. Medium body, alcohol hidden and a touch of carbonation. Flavor is very good, not quite living up to the aroma though, dry but not overwhelmingly so and a bit of malt. Nice.
