Nov 1, 2008 On tap. Pours a deep amber with a finger of white head. Aroma is coniferous hops and sweet malt. Flavor is coniferous, sweet malt, maple, citric, and a slightly bitter resinous finish. Very nice. Carbonation is good but not overpowering. Palate isn’t adverse and alcohol is well hidden. Good beer.

Oct 29, 2008 Pours a amber/dark cooper. Nice pine and citrus hop aroma. Good bitterness, but at the same time it was also a little sweet and incredibly easy to drink. Very little carbonization. I do like Imperial IPAs coming from a can. Thanks for the brew BOLTZ7555.

Oct 28, 2008 Can. Poured into a snifter, beautiful amber color, good head. Good aroma of pine and citrus hops. Taste is a well balanced DIPA. Nice sweet piney hop taste with malt in the aftertaste. The texture is creamy/smooth and very easy to drink. For sure it is one of the better DIPA out there.

Oct 26, 2008 Can. Pours foggy orange amber with a beige head. The aroma has grassy and floral hops with caramel malt. The flavor is well balanced with sweeter malt, floral hops, and some light fruity esters, followed by a nice bitter finish. Nice.

Oct 23, 2008 Really enjoyed Gordon. Lots of hops but what I liked was its malt character. Had lots of cramel and roasted flavors. Also has sort of a baked bread character. Very good.

Oct 19, 2008 Hoppy as hell. Darkish red color. Citrusy hint in the aroma. Very evergreen . Does not taste like it as 8.7 abv. Smooth and creamy. Very nice.

Oct 17, 2008 Can pours dark red-amber with thick and almost creamy beige head. Resinous, dank-hoppy mellows after a bit, heading toward pine needles and fruit punch. Intensely juicy hop aroma. Tastes like America! Sweet but only moderately bitter. Soft carbonation, somewhat thick and almost creamy mouthfeel. A bit sticky. Sweetish, tangy and hoppy aftertaste. More refreshing for its strength than it has any right to be.

Oct 17, 2008 Can. Pours clear amber, with a medium head, good lacing. Pine and grass dominate the nose, with a little bit of grapefruit. Fairly thin palate. Pine and citrus flavor, well balanced with light malt sweetness. Not as bitter as one would expect for an Imperial IPA.
