Small head that faded quick. Aroma of citrus fruits and flowers. It tastes more like a DIPA to me than a "strong ale". I’m very excited that this brewery now has some distribution in my area....I want to try their other stuff now! Very good beer. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA

Very nice floral aroma, characteristic of a highly dry hopped IPA. Great flavor, a nice balance between sweet malt and dry hops... citrusy and spicy. A very well put together beer. texasbartender (160), Sugarland, Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 14, 2008 The beer pours an amber red brown with a thick fluffy head that settles into a long lasting thin film that leaves long lacing the nose is a bitter hop with notes of caramel and rich malts. The taste is some what shocking, the can tells me that it is a very sticky beer but I found it more round with a dry hoppyness, not as big as big ipa’s but a nice rich balance of sweet malts and bitter hops. It has a medium long fish that last but does not linger. DewBrewer (267), Austin, Texas, USA

Nice balance of malt and bitterness. Good hop flavor as well though....hop flavor lacks in some imperials so this beer is great. BeerGestapo (738), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma is hoppy and fruity, with caramel malt. Flavor is caramel malt, hops, fruits and hints of citrus. Bittersweet finish. Like a DIPA or a strong amber. The best can beer I´ve tasted. hoplover (166), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 10, 2008 This brew truly is bliss in a can. The best beer Iv’e had from a can. The only downside I think I can Give is the aluminum can taste. It effects the palate and flavor of it. I couldn’t tell that there was 85 IBUs. But it almost gets a perfect score still.
