Clear brown-red pour with a thick white head. Very hoppy pine-citrus aroma with some sweetness to it. Slightly sweet flavor with some hops, not so much as to overpower the flavor. Really nice balance. Dry with a little bit of sweetness and very smooth and easy to drink. Some malt and yeast on the finish. Real good and easy to drink, although a little expensive!

Big thanks to Beerlando for the can!!
Pours a rich amber color with a smallish head. Smell is caramel, sweet oranges, and bitter pine. Taste is sweet and orangey caramel along with the same piney hops present in the nose. Slightly thick and a bit syrupy going down but not cloying in flavor. Very drinkable, in fact, with a sharp, short lived piney hop flavor balanced well by the sweet orange and caramelly malt. The carbonation is on the soft side making it rich and smooth. This stuff is great!

Cloudy red pour. Hoppy beyond belief on the nose. Taste like a hopped up caramel candy. Surprisingly not as hoppy on the palate as one would expect from the nose.

Thanks to By The Bottle crew for this gem---From a can--Poured a deep ruby-copper body. Piny, sticky, earthy nose. Hops over hops. Gritty, full, sticky mouth feel. Awesome!!

Pours a hazy amber from the can into my glass. A small mini head forms and disappears with little patches of bubbles forming in the middle. Smells sweet, full of pine and grapefruit. Great nose, I wish it came as an air freshener scent. Starts off with a caramel and brown sugar sweetness which is quickly overtaken by hops, grapefruit, pine, and lemony goodness. The sides of my tongue tingle a little and my mouth is left coated with bitterness.

On tap at Pizza Paradiso in DC. Poured a transparent, deep copper brown with a thin white head that faded midway down the glass. Aroma was very hoppy, citrus and flowers with strong sugary malt. Flavor was the same, brown sugar and caramel maltiness with lemony, citrus American hops in tow. Slightly bitter, slightly sugary finish. Very drinkable.

Pours a deep, thick, almost cloudy burnt orange/red. Earthy, pine aromas dominate the nose. Flavor is super-hopped (not my favorite style) with just a hint of caramel malty goodness. Palate is heavy and smooth, but finishes too dry for my liking. This is a well hopped beer that will be loved by loved by those that enjoy the style.

Poured from a can. Poured a nice ruby-amber color with a thick off-white head that left good lacing. Aroma of earthy, resiny hops and light caramel malt with some toffee and a light nuttiness. Smooth, sweet caramel entry with a nice toffee flavor that leads into a nice piny hop hit with undertones of nuts and more caramel flavor. Very full and rich in flavor. Nice and smooth on the palate with a good hop bite. Way too easy to drink, I could try to session this and get into a lot of trouble...
