Can (of course). Pours a nice ruby/copper color with a little bit if lacing in the medium size head. Sweet fruity aroma, I knew I was going to like it as soon as I smelled it. Sweet fruity & malt flavor. With a great balance of hop bitterness. One of my new favorites.

Can thanks to CaptainCougar. Pours a nice amber color with decent sized off-white head. Very sweet and hoppy aroma. Flavor was a little hoppy, but the sweet malt really took control. A lot of caramelized sugar, almost like candied oranges. Great texture and mouthfeel. Really didn’t notice the high alcohol at all, never got the warm feeling.

Can, Average off-white head, mostly diminishing. Amber color. Heavy hoppy aroma, notes of pine. Long duration.

Can. Deep dark orange thick creamy small white head. Great aroma - lots of hops, lots of malt,a s advertised. Taste - wow. Tons of flavour - huge malt present, huge really citrusy sticky hops, but somehow the body comes off as almost crisp - really well made brew here folks to achieve this balance. Alcohol present, slight burn in finish. Lots of caramel in finish as well. Almost refreshing? Crazy, this is a world class brew in a small little can. Great stuff.

One of my favorite IIPAs and it comes in a can! Nice citrus fruits come through here... oranges, grapefruit, the whole nine. Very nice on the palate, perfect for a IIPA. Nice head and lacing to boot. It’s even better on tap! I highly recommend checking this one out, although it is a tad pricey for the 4-pack. Also worth mentioning is that 4 of these is plenty. At almost 9% it doesn’t take much to catch a buzz.

imperial ipa in a can! count me in! pours from the can a translucent brown with no head, with a nice hoppiness in the nose, and a touch of grapefruit. good flavor, bitter and citrusy, but the hops seem rather subdued.... a full-mouthed, chunky feel. a pretty solid effort.

this beer poured with the aroma of an IPA but clearly a bit thicker. The rich vanilla head settled into a lasting lace. Thicker, maltier, and creamier than Dale’s Pale Ale. the taste is grapefruit, apricots, floral hops, and roasted malts. As so many others have noted, there is such great balance in this beer. Thick and malty, hoppy and bittter. At a time when we celebrate the extremes, the appeal of this beer is that 85 IBUs is so perfectly executed with balancing malts.
