GregClow (2493), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 24, 2007 Can shared with jerc & mabel - their can. Dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma of green and resiny hops. Medium body. Flavour is quite full and balanced, with big malt and big hops both sitting nicely together. Well made and enjoyable, but it didn’t knock my socks off. I’ll give it credit, though, for hiding that 8.7% very well. jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 24, 2007 Can from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo. Orangey amber body with a small frothy beige head. (3+) Surprising amount of hops in the aroma, green and earthy, leafy. (6+) flavour has a decent amount of bitterness. Something about the malt profile I do not care for, or perhaps its the combination of the caramel malt character with the hops. I know I have tasted something similar before but do not know where. Average palate. I had high hopes but this just did not do much for me - Bit disappointing. 6/3/6/3/13 franksnbeans (265), Columbus, Maryland, USA Dec 23, 2007 Pours a burned orange with a creamy head that lasts and laces sheets throughout. Smells of big thick hops, malty and possibly a tiny bit of dried fruit and some citrus. Taste huge hops, then huge malt to balance with a grapefruity finish but not bitter. Mouthfeel is medium with perfect carbonation. Crisp, refreshing, delicious, ABV is non existant. Im liking canned beer more and more.
xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA Dec 22, 2007 Updated: Apr 16, 2009Bottle from Mcbackus via homebrew mystery swap 1.0. Hazy dark amber with large and well retaining head. Aroma of sweet dough, soft spice and hops. Flavor is strong caramel, spice, slight earthiness, very resiny and dry, slight molasses, very nice. Medium body and well carbonated. Very nice!

Rerate, can thanks to 17thfloor. Cloudy orange with pancake beige head. Aroma is distinct pine with orange, caramel, slight cardboard and alc. Flavor is cardboard, citrus, sweet, vegetal, cloying. Medium with light carbonation. I’ve had better versions. 3/6/3/5/11 = 2.8, wow a whole 1. drop. raiderfost (158), virginia beach, Virginia, USA Dec 21, 2007 Hazy orange pour with a thick head and great lacing. Spicy hoppy aroma. Another very fine brew from the only company that makes a good beer in a can. hellbilly (1492), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Dec 17, 2007 pours a rich amber with a fluffy light tan head. it sticks a round for quite a while and leaves a "U" shaped ring the entire way down the glass. the initial hop aroma burns at my nose...nice. it’s followed with earth, caramel malt and really resinous piney hops. flavors of honey, cereal grains, brown sugar and orange with the alcohol coming in late. bitter, dry and resinous hops finish it off. pine lingers for a while. medium to rich in body and mouth feel......very enticing aroma but the flavor doesn’t match up. it’s not nearly as robust and never really develops even as it warms. still, quite tasty... fattibobatti (246), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Dec 16, 2007 can which is strange but interesting, pour was a deep amber with a amazing white foam that provided great lacing. smelled of resin and pine hops. The taste was at first a spicy pine hop flavor followed by a bready malt, finish showed almost no alcohol but carried citrus and pine hops for a while. BeerBiker (1384), Odense, Denmark Dec 11, 2007 [Sampled to Grisky-Bisky at Niels with Dr. Planökonom.] Had very big expecs to this can, but I found it too bitter in an unbalanced way. Sticky and metally despite its great look and aroma. The flavor hit me with a hammer and it took a while before I recovered. Maybe better next time.
