BuckeyeBoy (1645), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 11, 2007 Tap at The Front Door Boise, Pours out a dark amber topped with a off white head. WOW what a great floral hop aroma. A very nice floral hop tast. I also picked up some sort of mellon on this brew as well. Very tasty. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 11, 2007 Can. Pours a hazy dark orange body with a frothy white head. Delicious aroma consisting of tonnes of sweet grapefruit and orange resin, along with fresh pine needles and toast malts. Medium body, doesn’t really seem to overwhelm the senses to the point at which the aroma led me to believe. Reasonably sweet with significant orange and citrus resiny type flavours. Finishes very long and piney in a tongue scraping fashion. Alcohol provides some kick to the body.

Some caramel. Mostly piney anf prape fuiry hops aromas. Gave me nice hoppy-citric flavored burbs. Full bodied. Medium to high carbonation. Long, quite bitter finish with a tiny touch of alcohol. I like the strong hoppines that is backed up by body and malts. I wonder why this is an American Strong Ale and not an IIPA. ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 1, 2007 Canned. Pours out in a hazy amber colour with a rich white head. Sweet and sappy aroma of plenty of piney, floral and citric C-hops. Initially sweet flavour of nectarines, caramel, flowers and oranges. Finishes drier but not overly so of grapefruit, flowers and nectarines. fishingnet (1045), Brandon, Florida, USA Sep 27, 2007 Can.
