Chocolate brown, half inch of tan head, and hops up one side and down the other. Roasty toasty, and bitter enought to make a hophead smile. Complex and tasty. Somewhere between a stout and a barleywine. Medium body, soft carbonation, and pine hops in the aftertaste all day long.

Can. Pours a clear amber color with s longlasting off-white head. Maly hoppy piney citrus aroma. Sweetish malty hoppy piney flavor with some hints of grapefruit. Long malty finish with some weak chocolate hints and it has a long bitter aftertaste.

Can pours deep amber under a creamy, cream-colored head. Nice citric PNWs in the nose with a honey essence. The 9.2% is well-hidden behind hops. Thick bodied, nice and sticky (as advertised). Intensifies in flavor from what I first assumed to be an APA, to an IPA, and beyond as it warms. An excellent surprise.

12 oz. can courtesy of lamas. Poured hazy, light amber with a few small splotches of lace. Nose is bready and sweet with a subtle floral bouquet. Oily and medium bodied. Sweet, resiny, citrus flavor. Smooth and hoppy, this one is very easy drinking. Alcohol is very well hidden. Nowhere near as big as other DIPAs out there. Met one of the OB brewers in a Phish lot, he said this is more accurately classifed as an imperial red. Very nice.

Clear amber with a huge, dense, off white head. Nose is venomous, floral, resinous, and sweet. All hops and just a hint of grain in the nose. Flavor shows a ton more malt than anticipated. Nearly balanced. Hops are the same plus citrus rind with some graham cracker, cookie, and light caramel malt. Very drinkable. Medium/full body, balanced. If it’s warm next weekend, I’ll be taking a 4 pack to the beach. Very solid.

LCRBM2. Deep copper with beige head. Lovely strong hop/toffee combination. Possibly the best beer that I have ever had in a can. Intense hop and I didn’t think that the high alcohol got in the way.

Pours a clear amber with a nice off-white head. Nice full-flavoured of hops and a malty backbone. Some caramel. Mostly piney anf prape fuiry hops aromas. Gave me nice hoppy-citric flavored burbs. Full bodied. Medium to high carbonation. Long, quite bitter finish with a tiny touch of alcohol. I like the strong hoppines that is backed up by body and malts. I wonder why this is an American Strong Ale and not an IIPA.

Pours a dark brown, copper in appearance with a clear body that leaves a thick tan head. The aroma is very nice, pine, sharp earthy tones, tarragon, lots of herbs throughout the nose. This brew brings a toffee sweetness lots of malt which is needed to balance this hop bomb. The taste is very herbal, bitter hops upfront spicy and delicious. There is a slight anise presence to this brew, rounded by a chewy bitter pine feel that roughs up your palate. In the finish there is a sweetness of caramel with a pine cone bitterness after taste. This is a good IIPA but not worth the $3.99/can.
