More flavorful than a Budweiser, but ordinary in style. Enjoyed it, just not that special.

Beautiful pour. That is about the only positive thing. Corn lager with little pils. Minimal hops input.

On tap at St Augustine’s in Vancouver. A pale yellow beer with moderate white head. A moderately hoppy pilsner. Not much else to say.

Light, refreshing, easy as hell to drink. A perfect beer for a hot summer day or an evening cooling down. Pilsner flavors with enough hops to make it worthwhile.

Citrus, corn and yeast flavoured urine specimen.Doubt any hops at all were used in this pathetic pisswater.Pilsner beers like Pilsner Urquell are hard to duplicate. This brewer has failed miseably in every aspect except the outrageous pricing.I will pass on their other shill rated brews.I have yet to taste anything brewed in Colorado that is above drain pour quality.

Served from the can into a pint glass...
Smells of hops, grains, hay and the slightest citrus...
Pours a clear golden yellow with active carbonation. 1-2 fingers of white foam build quickly on an aggressive pour. Head dwindles down to decent lacing and a foam cap. Also a little sticky foam on the glass.
First taste... hops bitterness, bread dough, lemon and then a grain finish.
Smooth mouthfeel,, crisp light body with the carbonation a little on the high side. It finished dry for me with a bitter aftertaste.
Overall, this is a pretty decent pils but I don’t think it stands out enough for me to get all excited over it. It would definitely be a good summer or session brew though if you’re in the mood. First one of Oskar Blues’ beers I’ve had and I’m looking forward to tasting the others.

Pilsners aren’t my favorite choice, I prefer the full-body flavors but this is one of the best I’ve had. It is very smooth & easy to drink. I’m extremely happy Oskar Blues has opened production near Asheville so that we can experience their full line-up. Dales Pale has always been among my favorite.

A nice drinkable beer. Replace the Bud in your tailgate cooler with this and watch it fly. The head starts out nice but dissipates too quickly. It keeps a nice flavor from icy cold to room temp. It has a decent balanced bite. It could use a little more fizz and thicker longer lasting head. Overall I really like it and would offer it at my next BBQ paired with smoked meats and spicy wings. If the head weren’t so fleeting I would rate the appearance much higher.

Best pils in a can for my money. Nothing special about the beer but that’s what you get with a pilsner. Crisp, tasty beer.

Growler from the Beer Growler in Alpharetta. Light corn color, with a big, fluffy, white head, just like a Pilsener ought to look. Great citrus aroma, hay, bananas, and corn. Very sweet flavor, with a sharp, pils bitterness throughout. Medium body, slick and creamy mouthfeel. Overall, this is a nice, flavorful, and complex pilsener. I’m impressed.
