3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear light copper, white head. Nose is awesome garlic & mango, rich meaty (rotting?) strawberries, sweet caramel maltiness. Those are good things. Flavor is more garlic, tangerine, mango, super dank. This is huge & sticky sweet - the can was enjoyable but a lot to get through.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
can-this 4 pack was VERY expensive, but i decided to guy one. pours clear bright orange with a small fizzy white head. nose is tropical, passionfruit, pineapple, pine, flowers, graperfruit-pretty standard IIPA aroma, but definately not a bad thing. flavors exhibit the pine/dry/gin like qualities more than the tropical/citrus i would have expected from the nose. long grapefruit rind/piney finish-very dry and bittering on the toungue. I dig this type of IIPA because of the dryness. alcohol is always present, which makes this one not at the top of the club. a solid and strong IIPA that is pretty much the epitome of the style.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
aroma is sticky caramel that defies pale appearance: translucent lemon with spotty head and less lacing. elements of toast in malty aroma intensifies quickly. flavor is mellow grapefruit with crunchy toffee background. great malt character provides more then simple balance, ABV comes on quick, this is a neck snapper.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear light amber color/ off white head. Big pine hop, skunked hop aromas. medium bodied/ light carb. Decent bitter pine, grapefruit, cat spray hop flavors on a solid pale malty base. A bit too hoppy bitter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Hazy golden orange, not such a great head and ends up looking flabby. Bright hops greet my nose, then some skunk and vegetal interference prevents it from smelling really great. Still a nice aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation, thick and a little oily but not bad. Tastes intensely green, lots of pine, herbs, and some lime rind. Pretty good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The pour is a deep orange that is mostly clear with a small fleeting white head.
Citrus rind aroma and a nearby forest with damp pine forest nearby.
Sweet, mango fruit flavor that somehow manages some dryness in the finish.
Very fruity & juicy.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz can. Amber colour. Clear. Medium-sized white head. Bold hoppy aroma. Grapefruit and grass. Very bitter on the tongue. The body is also quite substantial and the beer feels somewhat balanced, even though the bitterness is a little overpowering. Delicious beer, especially if you like hops.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours apricot, but like a lager, clear, 2 inch, lasting dome head.head is dense and a pleasure to look at all its own. Aroma is strong resinous hops and floral sweetness. A bit dank. The can may have hurt this one. Rhubarb, vegetable, just kinda foody overall. Medium body, light fizzy mouthfeel. Sort of delicious still in a weird kinda way.

A poor offering from a good brewery

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Amber-golden pour with a nice white head. Aroma is hoppy with grapefruit, citrus and melon. Sticky, resinous hoppy mouthfeel. Nicely balanced with an equally flavorful malt presence... woodsy with heavy caramel. No hint of the high abv. Overall, this is extremely tasty and the malty sweetness really makes this one a quaffer. Dangerous in a can but delicious nonetheless.
