4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice citrus and pine aroma to start. The pour is a slightly cloudy amber with a very nice creamy head that laces and lasts. The flavor is malty sweet up front with a nice peppery hop at the back. The sweetness is prevalent throughout. Finish is dry despite the sweetness. Very nice indeed. There is no evidence of the alcohol content and I was quite surprised when I saw how high it was. Nice cans too.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a can. This poured a clear orange color with an average size foamy white head and good lacing. Nose is of malts but more floral and citrus hops. Body is medium with as slick oily mouthfeel. Flavor is sweet in the beginning but moves quickly to lots of bitterness that carries over in to the finish. Excellent stuff.

Can: pours golden amber with a frothy white head, hoppy resin aroma, taste is quite hoppy, kinda burnt malt with a mildly dry finish. Not that great.

A decent offering, well worth the money and iíd possibly get it again. Just didnít knock my socks off. I didnt get onion liek many did, the tangerine flavor form the hops was nice, but the beer was just too hot, and didnt have a lot going on.

[3120-20100705] 12floz can. Super spruce evergreen hops aroma has a weird taco note. Clear, medium orange brown body with a big long-lasting creamy off-white head. Bitter sweet evergreen hops and grainy malt flavour has mild maple sugar notes. Medium-full body. Strange combination of bitter hops and sweet malt.

Damn impressive imperial IPA. Amazing citrus and hop aroma. Pours a nearly transparent copper color which is truly deceiving. A burst of hop bitterness and assault of citrus on the palate. You can really taste the high abv. I drank this one in the dark with no note pad, so Iím rating on memory alone, which is unfortunate cause itís really good. Sorry for the lack of detail.

12 fl oz can enjoyed@Haandverkerstuene, Oslo. A finger of dense beige head resting on a brilliant golden brown colored body. Leafy and piney hop nose with citrus tones. Sweeitish, light nutty malt aroma. Also a strange scent of spiced onions and herbs. Taste is medium sweet and dominated by not so appealing taste of bitter, roasted nuts and vegetables. Piny bitterness underneath. Noticable alcohol. Medium full, quite smooth in the mouth. Lingering bitterness in the finish.
