Deep yellow color. Thick lacing. Very hopy grass nose. Taste is bitter and hoppy and grass like a good green tea. Very yumm!

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a glassy amber with a nice white head. Aroma is piercing pine and grapefruit. Flavor is tongue-curling grapefruit, orange peel, and pine, all with a malty backbone. Average mouthfeel. A great IIPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from Sam’s. Pours bright clear amber with lightly fizzy white head. Nose is pungent... grapefruit rind, burnt garlic, and green onions. Really super resiny, earthy, and also sweetly malty. A bit of a challenge, but I don’t hate it. I think the resin just overpowers the fruity goodness that I think is buried underneath. I keep thinking maybe there is a time and a place for a beer like this, but there are just so many other good IIPAs to be had. Tastes a bit less aggressive, but massively sweet. Palate feels heavy and sticky. I’m trying to like this beer but just not really feeling it.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce can from Superstar Huntington in pint glass. Hazy golden orange with dense rocky head and lace. Pungent grapefruit orange citrus and bready aroma with hint of alcohol warmth. Fruity sweet grapefruit and orange with some crackery biscuit and woody earthy assertive hop bitterness in lingering bitter finish. Heavy mouthfeel but not quite syrupy. Very complex. I consider this to be a real, no-holds-barred version of a true double/imperial IPA. It is well-done, very composed, not messy, yet still a little bit much for me.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy tan. Thin head. Minty-herbal hop aroma is oriented towards being chewy. The palate is also chewy. It has soft hops that come across a little bit pithy. Light balancing malts. Not the most stylish example...decent IIPA but far from spectacular.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
aroma is malty with some citrus hoppiness, subtle floral quality appearance is the model for ipa’s nice lasting sudsy then foamy white head cloudy orange red/amber color..tatste is like the aroma its an east coast ipa style for sure even thoughn its from colorado with hoppiness up front then citrus qualities then bitterness then the malty background..not as strong of a hoppy flavor as some but this isnt necessarily a complaint..tingly and smooth mouthtfeel bitter aftertaste that begs you to have more.. excellent drinkablitly well masked abv generally strong flavored but balanced and smooth.. given an extra overall point for having one of the most accurate commercial descriptions Ive ever read as usual good stuff from oskar blues

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Hazy golden orange, not such a great head and ends up looking flabby. Bright hops greet my nose, then some skunk and vegetal interference prevents it from smelling really great. Still a nice aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation, thick and a little oily but not bad. Tastes intensely green, lots of pine, herbs, and some lime rind. Pretty good.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear light copper, white head. Nose is awesome garlic & mango, rich meaty (rotting?) strawberries, sweet caramel maltiness. Those are good things. Flavor is more garlic, tangerine, mango, super dank. This is huge & sticky sweet - the can was enjoyable but a lot to get through.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
can-this 4 pack was VERY expensive, but i decided to guy one. pours clear bright orange with a small fizzy white head. nose is tropical, passionfruit, pineapple, pine, flowers, graperfruit-pretty standard IIPA aroma, but definately not a bad thing. flavors exhibit the pine/dry/gin like qualities more than the tropical/citrus i would have expected from the nose. long grapefruit rind/piney finish-very dry and bittering on the toungue. I dig this type of IIPA because of the dryness. alcohol is always present, which makes this one not at the top of the club. a solid and strong IIPA that is pretty much the epitome of the style.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
aroma is sticky caramel that defies pale appearance: translucent lemon with spotty head and less lacing. elements of toast in malty aroma intensifies quickly. flavor is mellow grapefruit with crunchy toffee background. great malt character provides more then simple balance, ABV comes on quick, this is a neck snapper.
