4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler with my FIL and neighbor on the new deck!
The most balanced and quaffable IPA I have ever had. There was just enough hop to call this a IPA but no more. I think the IBU number is a bit high. The malt base of this was strong and the dark Munich and rye malt really stood up and played well with the hop bitter.
The first blast of hop from the growler was a tad muted but opened up like crazy as it warmed. The feel was perfect not too thin or thick, the finish was longer than the brewers deScription mentions, this is not a bad thing. The finish was fairly long and enjoyable, morphing from the hop bitter to the malty bite of the rye then to a soothing dark. One thing the shocked me was the 10%. It is nowhere to found, except in the bottle of the bottle.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pour is a thick almost see through dark orange, thick head that dies after you drink, but retains a minimal presence after with kickass lacing.
smell is caramel, orange, bitter hops, pine, burnt sugar, itís all there and very nice.
Taste has a front of caramel and citrus mix, sort of a dark chocolate orange and rich caramel flavor with the hops and the pine settling in for the after taste, which is sweet combating bitter

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Strong hop aroma towards pine and a sort of orange like thing. Rich. Pours clear copper with a nice stand up head. Taste is woah strong. Hop bitter dominates. The malt is good and not thin. Stands up to the hops. Alcohol warmth. There is some super orange hop flavor in there as well, but the bitterness hits me first. Aftertaste is a long bitter ride. Good slughtly oily body.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours light golden with good white head and clear as anything. Aroma of malt first and foremost with slight zesty hops and hint of citrus. Not a hugely aromatic beer. Decent carbonation and mouth feel. Taste is mainly malt and biscuit which faces to citrus hop bitterness. Not sweet but not dry either. His the alcohol level very well but a bit flat overall.

Draught @ Tavern29. Clear copper with small frothy whitish head, orange peel aroma, low carbonation, slightly sweet orange peel taste, medium thick body, medium bitter orange peel finish. Very smooth and deceptively easy to drink.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured into a shaker showing moderately filtered honey brown with half a finger of white foam.
The nose shows moderately intense clean pineapple.
The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Flavors of light clean pineapple supported by a balanced malt backbone. Big sharp IIPA finish cleans it off but itís a bit too big compared to the front end. Still a pretty good IIPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Citrus pine aroma in a golden amber pour. Laid back balance with a hop malt mix that manages to hide its strength. Problem is one would be tempted to have more than the body could take!
