Taste comprises caramel, darl malts, brown bread dough, sugars. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate, dry finish. Inoffensive so so affair.

On tap at Earls in downtown Denver. Pour is slightly murky brown with a big frothy tan head and great lacing. Brown malty, bready, earthy, somewhat husky, grassy, and roasty aroma. Taste is light cocoa, toast grass, slightly sweet, dark fruits, coffee, and marshmallows with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. OK brown, but really nothing to get excited about.

Can from OB brevard brewery. Nose is a lot like a light old chub--and my research brings me to a page that says it almost was called just that. Lots of malt, some toffee, light smoke. Flavor is similar. Pretty good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. can purchased at the Oskar Blues brewery in Brevard. Pours a hazed brown color with a big beige head that laces the glass. Notes of leaves, toast, brown sugar, earth, and dust. Very simple and straightforward. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Easy drinking brown ale.

12 oz can at the Brevard brewery RBWG. Pours brown in color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, a mild nutty component, light chocolate, with some earthy notes at the finish. Decent enough, but lacking much character.

Can at the brewery, but it was called "One Nut". Smelled like chocolate and walnuts. Taste was also nutty and fudgey. Pretty simple, but enjoyable.
