COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

On tap at the River rd Tavern. Came to the table in a shaker pint, a pale straw yellow color without much of a head. Smells of pilsen malt and earthy spicy hops. It smells like a macro lager with a bit more hops added. The taste is pretty straightforward, honey like sweet pilsen malt with earthy spicy hops. Medium to thin body with an ample level of carbonation and a sweet tart kind of mouthfeel going on. This is a decent brew, but really nothing extraordinary. I would drink this before I drank a bud, but if there was anything else craft I would probably choose that first.

Poured from the can into a trumpet glass to drink. The beer had a semi-cloudy, hazy, straw-yellow color with an average-sized foamy white head with short retention, but good cling and some lacing. Its aroma featured touches of citrus, lemon and straw, and a very light malt with some grain and wheat. The taste was slightly citrus and bitter with a light wheat component and some grainy sourness. It had a lighter, thinner mouthfeel, and was a bit dry, with lower carbonation. Thank you to Eric and Siobhan for the tasting.

A clear, yellow pour with a white head. It has a very light aroma with touches of floral hops and wheat. The light body has a thin texture with lively carbonation. The taste begins mildly sweet and finishes with a slight bitterness.

The aromas are bready malts with lemon, floral, and herbal hop notes. Hazy golden with a fluffy white head. The tastes echo the aromas. Clean and refreshing.

Can. Pours hazy golden with a fluffy, long lasting white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of bready malt and grassy hops. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Bready malt and grain are balanced on the palate by herbal, grassy hops. Finish is long and slightly bitter. An avearge Pils.

Pours a bright yellow straw color with medium white soapy head. Aromas are lemons, german malts, corn, shampoo, orange and coriander. Taste is lemon peel, pepper, smokey, and spicy german hops. Finshed a little dry and not too flavorful. Decent Pils.

Originally reviewed: 10/6/09. Poured into my pilsner glass. Pours a cloudy dark yellow with a large frothy off-white head on top. Great retention. Leaves plenty of sticky lace. Smells of grass, lemons, sharp hops, and sour apples. The mouth was thin and lacking carbonation. Didn’t care for the feel at all. Flavor was tart and grassy. Plenty of lemon zest in there, finishes mild. Hops at the forefront, but tamer than expected. Not bad. Refreshing, but needs some work.

Pours a clear yellow with a thin white head. Aroma and flavor are both pretty much as one would expect.

Draught from an oversized wine glass. Standard lager pour. Very fizzy. Aroma is muted, but has some nice Saaz hops. Taste is refreshing like a pale lager/pils but has some nice, clean malts and hops. This is a great session beer.

From the can. Aroma of Pine and some herbal accords. Taste: some Pine on the palate with a bitter finish, overall clean and balanced yet a little restrained .
