kmweaver (2010), Takoma Park, Maryland, USA Sep 3, 2008 Rating #2000! Draft @ Fat Heads. Pours a clear, bright golden color; thin white head that quickly fades. Good amounts of mineral bitterness, yellow fruits, and candy sugar at the core; slightly sweet midsection. Medium mouthfeel: chewy sugars, mineral bitterness, and yellow fruits; chewy, slightly sweet core, with a dry, toasty minerally bitter perimeter. Nothing exceptional, sadly. Lengthy finish: candy sugar, toasty malts, and mineral bitterness; solidly toasty end. joshwilfong (518), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 27, 2008 light yellow. flavor of malt but not your traditional munich or biscuit style. hop flavor is strong but it doesnt have that classic crispness of a good pilsner. an enjoyable beer, but it doesn’t exactly fit the style guidelines, it tastes more like a light pale ale acrdz (4297), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 16, 2008 Draft @ the brewery. Clear yellow body with a patchy white head. Strong, very full flavor, sharp and somewhat astringent, while being full and syrupy and thick at the same time. Lemon sweetness, oily and slick and thick... somewhat transparent and quiet nose, at times there’s close to nothing aroma-wise. Overall a satisfying pilsener, but not traditional at all. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 03/20/2007

hazy golden yellow, frothy white head, lots of lace,
sweet spicy peppery hop aroma,
slightly sweet malt flavor, touch of stylistic corn sweetness, balanced with spicy hops, big and tasty for a pilsner but still a pilsner

JoeMcPhee (3692), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Jul 27, 2007 Tap at HDG. Pale golden beer with a thin white head. Light graininess and a fairly assertive floral hop aroma. Light grassiness over a light pils malt base. Flavour is light and fairly floral as well. Little in the way of maltiness save a light crackery note. Light bitterness, but overall, it’s not a bad pils at all.
