Faint aroma of crisp green apple. Flavor is similar with a spicy wood and cinnamon-apple finish. Light body is almost astringently dry. 502Flavors (631), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

This was one of the first beers I had at the festival and it was a great start. A very solid pilsner that is very easy drinking for the summer. Nice pale malt character with a nice subtle hop presence. Wish I could get this at home in KY. MartinT (5080), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 25, 2009 My Bottom Line:
Light cereals and grassy, herbal hops merge in this loose and approachable Pilsener.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the misty pale yellow.
-The nose is very timid.
-The mouthfeel is not too crisp, carbonated with large bubbles.
-Even though this is very drinkable and rather balanced, I admit I found it more boring than most good pilseners in the USA. I guess I was expecting more from Oskar.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 25, 2009 Can (12oz). Pale gold, hazy, huge fluffy off-white head. Grassy, dry clover and honey aroma, quite floral. Taste is a little grassier, not as sharp, the malt has a slightly soapy edge to it - not bad, a little odd. Light yet chewy-soft mouthfeel, very weak carbonation, some dry grassy/floral bitterness in the aftertaste - it finishes very quickly indeed. Golf beer. yespr (12439), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Smooth grassy and dry initial flavoured. Dry cornish to grassy. Bitter base and grassy. Dry finish. Decent brew. Papsoe (15180), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Can 35,5 cl. Clear yellow with a dense white head. Fairly malty nose. Medium body, malt and sulphur with a dry and hoppy finish. Alright I guess, but somehow had expected more from Oscar Blues. 060709 luv2brew (181), Chesterfield, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Pours a nice light sunlight yellow with a large soft foamy head. Nose comes across as somewhat hoppy. The first taste is a dry, bitter hoppiness with little malt flavor. It also has some spiciness, almost a hint of cloves or anise. Very good summer beer though, very well put together clong83 (243), San Diego, California, USA
