Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Clear golden yellow with a medium quickly fading white topper. Aroma of grassy hops, sweet malt, mild floral hops and a touch of pepper. Taste is grassy as well with some sweet malt mixed in. Pretty easy to drink with a hoppy finish.

Oskar has let me down. I was very surprised at the cheap taste of this beer. Something in it reminded me of malt liquor in a brown bag. I am a fan of Dale’s, Gordon, Ten Fiddy, but not this stuff. I didn’t find any of the great pils aromas, quickly bitting bitterness that fades to become herbal spices against sweet golden malts. It just wasn’t there. It reminded me of corn laden, industrial lager. Sorry, I don’t think I’ll be comign back to revisit this any time soon.

Can. Poured a crystal clear yellow color with an inch and a half thick, rocky white head that steadily receded to a bubbly layer while leaving some spotty lacing. Aroma of light pilsner malt, some sweet honey, light orange, and some spicy, grassy hops. Crisp, lightly spicy entry with some orange flesh, a bit of sweet honey, and graham cracker lead into a rather spicy hoppiness with a light grassy character that finishes lightly dry. Soft carbonation and a bit heavier mouth feel than most pilsners. Overall, a pretty drinkable beer, but it seems a bit spicier and heavier than other, more enjoyable examples of the style.

Nice beer! Nice golden yellow color, foamy white head. Aroma has straight up grassy spicy stinky saaz, malt notes were bready and soda cracker. Well rounded flavors, sweet grains and spicy hops, balanced finish. Less bitter than alot of pilsners but an excellent hot weather drinker.

Bold golden yellow beer pours with a 1/2 white head, settling to a thin film. Moderately carbonated. Sweet grain aroma. Taste starts with the bittering hops and rolls off to honey, and a strong backend bitter finish. Good strong beer, while still maintaining drinkability... did you hear that budlight?

Bottom marked Canned 3-17-09. Poured golden with a frothy white head. Aromas of corn, straw, and light citrus. The flavor had corn and light hops. Light body, light bitterness, dry. Decent lawnmower beer.

12oz can. Pours a bright yellow color with a small fizzy head. Nose is light corn and straw with some light caramel malt notes. Palate is thin and fizzy. Flavors of corn and light sweet malt with a fizzy finish.

Clear yellow, foamy white head. Soft fruit and corny pepper aromas ride undercurrents of club crackers and caramel. Floral peppered hop flavors round with a touch of sweet yeast in the end. Light bodied, soft carbonation, light bittersweet finish. Had potential, but needs that crisp refreshing finish. Decent summer guzzler none the less...
