COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Too sweet for a pilsener. Not as crisp or dry as I was hoping. Mild grassy hops with some light wheaty malts. Lightly sweet finish. Reasonably drinkable. Light pale lager kind of aroma.

Very pale yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is mostly floral, and perhaps a bit herbal. Very clean and crisp flavor, moderately bitter. Very refreshing. This one excels at everything a pilsener should be.

[Tap] Pours a dark shade of yellow with very little head. Aroma of light malts and decent amount of hops. The taste is crisp and grassy. Good amount of malts were used, but the beer was also somewhat sweet at times. Robust palate for a pilsner, with an average carbonation level. A solid beer.

Pours deep yellow with a moderate head. Slightly opaque quality hints at a non-existent yeastiness. Slight nose of hoppiness fades quickly in the mouth. Well balanced. This is a good choice for those making the transition from mass-produced American Lagers.

Pale golden color with normal head. Good flavor balance with malt and hops. A good beer to use as an introduction to the shallow end of the beer pool for those looking to move out of the mass-produced-fizzy-yellow-kiddie pool.

This beer pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. It has a fresh aroma of pine hops with malt sweetness. The taste, likewise, is of fresh, grassy malt with pine hops and plenty of bitterness. This beer is a bit bland for my liking, but overall is a fairly good pilsner.

12oz can from Julioís. A large ivory foam settles above the highly effervescent clear pale yellow. Not particularly aromatic, this lager mostly offers spicy/floral saazy notes as well as straighforward breadiness. In mouth, it feels a bit thicker than I expected, unveiling rich breadiness and soft hay character. Not so much lager character with this relative roundness accentuated by the not particularly active bubbles despite the looks. Nonetheless, the developing spicy bitterness is growingly pleasant sip after sip and limits the initial sweetish impressions. Simple, but efficient. While itís not Pikeland, Iíd buy again from time to time if it were readily available to me. It makes me think... I wish Victory canned Prima Pils.

Some parts of this beer made me very happy. The hop presence that wasnít overwhelming made me proud to be drinking an American Pils. Then I realized I realized that I was drinking an American Pils. The aftertaste was poor. The aroma was slightly dank. People from across the table thought it was a wheat beer. Not a good sign. I enjoyed drinking it at first, but I soon realized that they were right. This beer just wasnít that good....

Pours deep yellow with a decent white foamy head. neutral aroma. Moutfeel is middling. Taste is OK, but uninteresting. I did not finish it, but I could have if nothing else was available.
