2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Letís say I was slightly dissapointed in this beer. Ecspecially at 8.99 a sixer- ive been wanting to try it for quite a while and the clerk let me try one. The Victory Prima Pils is way better by far. Pours a clear yellow colour, decent head. Instant malt and honey notes. Taste is a little sweet but very neutral overall. Has some corn and grassy notes midpalate. Ok but nothing amazing

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: APR 27, 2011 Their really isnít too much to the aroma. Some hops, and maybe some sweet fruits. The pour is rather nice. Light golden color with a nice white head, some decent lacing as well. The flavor is really nice on this one. Initially, the grain aspect really shines through. Which is something that I really enjoy. But as I was savoring the grain, then the hops started to make themselves known. The finish was rather bitter, but still on the light side. This is very drinkable beer with enough character to make it enjoyable.

A decent pils. Lots of Saaz aroma and flavor. I like the fact that it comes in a can. Perfect for camping.

Can: Weak grass and corn aroma. Cloudy yellow, headless. Cardboardy with a touch of lemony tartness. Maybe some berries in the end, but obviously off.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. Pours a large, white, frothy head. Clear, golden body. Spicy, herbal, noble hop aroma with underlying grainy/bready malt. Flavor is full of spicy hops held up by a sunny, summery Pilsener malt backbone. Light, smooth body. Malty sweet up front with a clean, crisp, lightly bitter finish. Lively carbonation. Overall a straightforward, simple, delicious Pilsener. Well done.
