COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Pours a nice gold color. Large poofy white head. Yeasty, bready aroma. Mildly hopped. Very minimal sweetness. Slightly bitter. Crisp and smooth and overall rather good even if it is not too extraordinary.

Can, with Alaskanwarren. Thanks Brian! Gold/yellow, smallish white layer of foam. Light caramel corn aroma, a little bit of earthy hops. Cooked corn and sort of a licorice/mint/medicine hop character. Soft mouthfeel with good firmness, though maybe a touch full for a pils. Seemed like a beer that could fit in happily with most of the pils I’ve tried in Germany. But while a bit of DMS is authentic, I could happily do without it.

Straw yellowwith a small white head. Good malt and hop aroma. Flavor is a bit sweeter, with some grass, banana and bread as well. Good flavor and finish.

Can from City Beer in SF, in celebration of "Beer Wars." "Yella"-golden appearance with a white head. Grassy hops and sweet pale malt in the aroma, same on the flavor. Nothing special but good for the style. Drinkable with a light palate.

12 oz can-cloudy yellow pour w/a moderate head, settles to a clear, light golden color. Light, floral hop aroma. Slightly sweet flavor, some wheat grass, some corn, a little bread dough, maybe some banana or apple. Solid drinkable session brew, good for this style. Light mouthfeel; long dry finish.

Can from Carrboro Beverage Co. Pours a straw golden with a small white head. I found this to be pretty good, but also a little watery which is surprising considering how hopped up and flavorful the other OB brews I have had have been. Good festival beer, no doubt.

Poured from the can (though it is the best pils I’ve had out of a can) a golden yellow (surprise) with a nice white head that dies off quickly. A bit sweet taste with a smooth and easy finish. Easy to drink from the can, or a glass. Found at Midway Mart for the DFW folks.

Can at flying saucer. Pours a clear golden with a small white head that leaves behind a sticky white lacing. The aroma is a corn malt with clove and banana. Full body moirhfull with a tangy wheat grass taste. A good pils from oskar blues.
