Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Czech Pilsner and my least favorite of the brews I tried. Iím not sure if itís because it was the last one I tasted or if I am becoming too much of a hophead, but this beer just didnít do anything for me. It was a nice, bright cloudy golden yellow with lots of visible carbonation and carried a great thick, creamy head with good retention, but after that it just went downhill like the Troublette. Under my nose, it came across medicinally sweet but with a faint and bitter powdered sugar corn/banana bread malt tint. Oh yeah, there was some yeast in there, too. Weird, I know. The mouthfeel was definitely on the thicker side, with a lighter flavor - basically all sweet cornbread malt - than the nose. I really wish I had more to end on, but thatís about as good as itís going to get for tonight. Iím glad for the experience, as always, but this one would be my last choice at any bar.

Can, nice light Nobel hop aroma and sulphur, American pillsner body (adjuncts?) grainy pillsner malt profile, light dryish finish

Citrus, lemon, a bit grassy, a definite breadyness as well, a bit bitter on the finish. Not really super clean or crisp like I would want a pils to be. It great.

Can, Pavilion Discount Beverages, North Myrtle Beach, SC. Clear yellow, nice creamy thick white head. Slightly spicy hop aroma with bready malts. Taste is nice - more malt biscuit than anticipated, sharp spicy saaz hops. Very clean. Dry. A well made pils that i could drink a lot of - good thing I grabbed 6.

Clear golden yellow, light white head. Light grassiness, some floral notes, a bit of breadiness. Quite a bit of bitterness for a pils, balanced by some decent sweetness. Quite a bit of carbonation, some acidity, a good amount of effervescence. Quite short finish. Fine.

Light yellow, clear, big bubbles. It didnít have any head by the time it got to my table. Slight yeasty flavor. Pretty crisp and clean flavor, no strong aftertaste.

great pilsener, Barney down at Moeís totally approved my choice on this. Stuff has some real malt and backbone for a pils thats what makes it.

A: Pours extremely clear with a half inch pillow soft head that dissipates after a couple minutes. Big bubbles rising. Attractive if light lacing as drunk. S: Baguette and grass. Tart aroma. Simple but smells good. T: Very bready upfront with almost sweet maltiness prominent. Earthy hop presence kicks in at the finish. Dry, refreshing and quite tasty. I really do like the malt bill. M: Light body with good tingle on the tongue from still busy carbonation. Not a tongue scrubber but dry, crisp and clean drinking. O: Had this once before and completely forgot all about it. Pleasantly surprised to find itís not all too forgettable. Tasty sharp crisp pilsner that I could drink all night. Well priced and widely available. Whatís not to like?

12oz can pours crystal clear gold yellow with a finger of head. Looks beautiful. Nose is straightforward crisp corn, grain, a touch of grass, and hints of spicy cereal. Taste is super clean, well balanced, crisp grain and corn backbone holds up soft sublte grass and pine spice. Medium bitterness. Finishes clean with medium bitterness and some short linger grain and corn spice. I could drink this often. Really nice pilsener.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. This brew is a nice straw color with a small white head. It has a gain and slight citrus flavor. This is an excellent summer time beer.
