COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2015 just your basic pils.....when poured as part of the seven beer flight at the brewery it sort of prompts one to think: "one of these is not like the others....lalalala". they donít really do lagers, which I think actually works to their advantage with this brew. It is a perfectly fine "lawnmower" beer- they didnít really try to do anything to it or make any claims that it sets itself apart from the other long list of micro brewerys making lawnmower beers. it is just light (taste and color) nice carbonation and refreshing. More smooth than crisp- so really easy going. Tons of bread and biscuit and some corn happening- somewhat sweet. would order a pint with fish tacos. totally unoffensive and understated. so, for a pils, well done oskar.

I wasnít expecting much going in, pilsners being my least favorite style. Pale yellow, white head. Grassy aroma, not much flavor. A very forgettable beer from a terrific brewery.

Nice and light. Sweet cereal and grassy aroma with just a little bitterness. Very clean finish. Compliments mild and nutty cheeses. Better with seafood.

I do enjoy pilsners, but this is definitely not my favorite. It has this skunkiness in the aroma, which is in a lot of pilsners but this skunkiness was a little too prevalent. Not much else going on in the aroma other than some mild grassiness and breadiness. The taste is mostly sweet with some mild bitterness in the finish. Itís not the most crisp pilsner Iíve had and itís a bit creamier than Iíd like a pilsner to be.

Poured from a 12 oz can. Appearance is a mostly clear yellow. Taste was very clean and smooth. It had an excellent mix of malts and hops, very well balanced. Not too bitter, not too sweet. Aroma typical pilsner.

Easily my favorite pils. We did a back to back pilsner tasting, and this one came out on top. Recommended.

On tap at Parker pie. Clear gold pour with creamy lacy white foam. Aroma is grainy, flour, light grassy aromas. Taste is grainy, floury flavor, light, malty. Palate is light bodied, good silky carbonation. Nice.
