COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2015 just your basic pils.....when poured as part of the seven beer flight at the brewery it sort of prompts one to think: "one of these is not like the others....lalalala". they don’t really do lagers, which I think actually works to their advantage with this brew. It is a perfectly fine "lawnmower" beer- they didn’t really try to do anything to it or make any claims that it sets itself apart from the other long list of micro brewerys making lawnmower beers. it is just light (taste and color) nice carbonation and refreshing. More smooth than crisp- so really easy going. Tons of bread and biscuit and some corn happening- somewhat sweet. would order a pint with fish tacos. totally unoffensive and understated. so, for a pils, well done oskar.

Can to glass - rich yellow, slight tint, thick coarse off white head, spotty lace. Aroma of sweet grains, sweet corn, grasses. Fuller in body than expected... more corn, some apple, a hoppy edge. Not a terrible version of the style but not especially inspired or creative.

Can. It pours a faintly hazy golden body under a dense, off-white head leaving nice lacing. The aroma has a delicate malt touch, with grassy, lightly piney hops, some hay and a hint of generic fruityness. It’s medium to full-bodied, with a smooth carbonation. Perhaps a bit sweet, but it’s far, far from cloying, and with a decent bitterness to deal with it. Light biscuity malts in the back, white bread crust, grains and a pleasant hoppy flavor of grass and pine cone notes. Sort of floral, with hints of hay. Long fruity-sweet finish with malts and hops in a fine combination. Well, I’d like it a bit drier, but it’s a fine brew indeed. 160822

Can @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Amber-gold with a thin head and a carbonation. Grittier pilsner in texture and taste, with a crispness. Has some fruitiness in its aroma.

355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 5.3%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Fairly nice grassy and herbal aroma. The flavour is a tad too sweet for my liking, but still fairly crisp due to decent hops. Hints of honey and herbs.

355ml can. Pours a clear yellow with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of fruit, bread and grain. Sweet flavour of bready malt, fruit and corn with a dry, hoppy, mildly bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

Boks 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Drukket på Lillehøgda 9 Jul 16. Stråfarget. Lavt tett skum som etterlater tynn lacing. Lett bananaroma. Smaken litt mais med innslag av frukt. Behagelig tørr ettersmak.

Yellow, clear color. Light body. There were some unexpected yeast aromas; I am not a big fan of lager yeast smell. A little bit of grainy smell and a good dose of floral hops. Lacks the DMS of the European varieties. Taste is mostly dry, quite hoppy. A bit of biscuity sweetness, in there, but it fades quickly into a floral, and almost citrusy flavor. Very good for the style.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear yellow with off-white head. Aromas of malt, subtle floral. Tastes of malt, wheat, light corn. Light body with a dry and crisp finish.
