This is a really well made pilsner. The hops are not massively prominent but give up enough to keep this interesting. Light bodied with well balanced carbonation. Does not leave a sickly corn taste like many other lager/pils beers. Easy to drink and good for those days where you need a refreshing, toned down beer to enjoy.

Rated based on notes taken 22 Jun 2012 -- This is a great simple pilsner. A little lacking in the hop department, but overall I could drink this all friggin’ day.

Aroma: Very light aroma; a whiff of grain and grass, not much else. Appearance: Light yellow pour with a skin of white head. Flavor: Crackery malts up front; saaz comes off more grassy/herbal than noble; has a lingering moderate grassiness toward the finish. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, very soft carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: Found this to be kinda limp, and I love Pilsner beer. Saaz felt odd to me here.

Light yellow color, aroma is lost on me. Taste is mostly yeast, lemon and sweet malt. This seems more like a Belgian than a pilsner to me. Not sure I’m going to actually finish it.

Tap at Over The Bar, South Side, Pittsburgh. Appears as a nice yellow color with a very nice balance of hops and flavor. Quite refreshing.

Great American-style pilsner. Earthy spicy hop aroma with subtle honey-like malt aroma. Pale Straw with a lasting white head. Heavily carbonated. Heavy carbonic acid with subtle pilsner malt and crisp and spicy hop flavor. Great for poolside.

Can from Woodmans in the Falls, on the singles rack and realized 1. it is summer and 2. I’ve never rated. Pours a fairly pale yellow with a white head. Some spotty lace. Aroma has light fruit and graham crackers, with possible pine. Taste is of sweet golden malt, light breading and some fruit. Light bodied and very clean. Finishes short and sweet. Tasty enough to have again in a pinch. Just light on everything. 13.5

Canned on 2014-03-13. Clear yellow with a medium sized white head. Light sulphur, dusty, green plant material, dry flowers, grain, toasted malt, light sugar, light metallic. Light/medium body, watery/oily texture, medium carbonation, medium sweet and light bitter. Would like it to be less sweet and malty and a bit more hoppy.

Yella pour with decent clarity, good lace, a dense fluffy head and good retention. Nose is pils malt and very mild spicy hops. Flavor begins pine, herbal, spicy hops which mellow into honey-ish sweetness, and then a very mild balancing bitterness on the finish. Great balance and drinkability on a hard to nail style.
