4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a can in into a pilsner glass. Canned 07-05-11. Aroma is floral with a little lemon scent to it. It poured a light cloudy yellow with a white head that held up. The taste is very light and crisp, with some hop character, which is what I want in a pilsner. Good carbonation as well. Overall this is a great beer. Good for a session beer and I love how it comes in a can. One of my favorites.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
The appearance has a clear bubbly yellow body, bubbles really cling to the sides of the glass, two finger white foamy head rises and leaves a fair amount of nice foamy lacing in its wake and then gently falls.
The smell is a bit grassy, with a little bit of hay, corn and light hops, but a strong presence of malts comes through as well.
The taste has all of the previously mentioned flavors combine in a semi-sweet sort of way but comes across fairly light. There is a slight sweet corn aftertaste and a sticky malty finish.
On the palate, its light and sessionable. Carbonation seems really light (under-carbonated a bit, hmmm....unsure).
Overall, its a mostly average Czech Pilsener, nothing to scream about, but would probably have again perhaps with food.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma is grassy and slightly hoppy. AppearscleR and light gold with only slight frothy head. Good spotty lacing though. Taste sweet and citrus. Medium Mouthfeel to style. I like this as grilling beer that non craft folks could like.

Crystal clear yellow beer. Seems like a slightly better version of the typical BMC beer. Good lawnmower beer, that’s about it.

Fr0m a can fr0m the gr0cery st0re: Quite drinkable, tasty, but a bit light 0n the h0ps. Hazy b0died, bubbly, and t0ppped with a sizable chunky head, This has a sweet bready ar0ma with a light hit 0f fl0ral h0p scents. The flav0r is much the same, sweet, but n0t cl0yingly s0. It finishes 0n a mildly bitter fl0ral n0te. I c0uld easily drink a bunch m0re.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
@ Dewey’s / Crestview Hills KY --- Clear golden amber, rim head, small splotches of lace. Taste is bitter at the opening, followed by sweet malt and hay that isn’t able to overcome the hops, Both move quickly to a lingering bitter finish. Simple, actually good with pizza, but not memorable on its own merits.

Tap from Lazy Dog. Pours a transparent gold with a thin layer of off white head. Aroma of slight bitterness. Taste of malts and grains. It is what it is.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From a can. Pours golden with a thick, rocky head. Not much hop aroma, but some. Flavors of sweet pine and vanilla. Sight hop bite at the end. Light mouthfeel. I’m surprised that this isn’t better than it is. I was expecting a more traditional, dry pils with exceptional hop bite. This is slightly sweeter with very little exceptional character. Everything else I’ve tried by Oskar Blues has been outstanding. This is pretty ordinary.

Pilsener borderin on a lager, lots of cereal notes minus the crisp hops of the German style. Pale golden with small creamy head. If you like macro brew, you’ll like this.

Pours a clear pale yellow with head that fades to a ring leaving decent lacing. Aroma is grainy with hay and spicy hops. Taste is sweet grain malts, corn, cracker, and a medium spicy hops. Palate is smooth with pleasant dryness, keeping it drinkable and crisp.
