COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Can poured into pils glass. Straw yellow with white head. Aroma is floral and light bread malt. Taste is balanced between grassy sweetness and light hop bitterness; maybe a little metalic. Medium body, some bitter aftertaste. Decent enough.

Can. By the standards of a pilsner, this is arguably better for malt than for hops, though the hops taste good. Possibly the fact that there’s some maltiness to it means the hops don’t stand out as much. No punch, but still flavorful and a world away from fizzy yellow mass pilsner. Nice head as well.

Clear golden color with some bubbles. Not a very strong aroma, but some grass and cardboard and Corn in the nose. Some floral hops. Taste is sort of hay and floral hops. Cereal and bread with a bit of hop spice. A nice pils over all. Medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brewed and canned in Brevard, NC. Golden, foamy, and plenty of flavor for me. Actually, quite complex for what I expected.

19.2 ounce tallboy can canned on May 21, 2013.
Appearance: The body has crystal clear clarity with lazy bubbles floating in the pale straw to golden colored body. The head is dense and white with great retention. Thick lacing is left as it dissipates.
Aroma: The aroma is weak in strength with hints of malt sweetness and a very slight lemony spice hop presence.
Taste: Light malt sweetness throughout with a touch of spicy and floral hops on the finish. Crisp and easy to drink.
Palate: Crisp light body with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: I’m new to pilsners so I really have a hard time appreciating them right now. I like that they are very refreshing and easy to drink, but as of now I like beers a bit more bold I suppose. The best compliment I can give this is that it’s refreshing.

Poured from a 19.2 oz tallboy plus....golden yellow with somewhat frothy (not fine bubbles) head. Nice lacing. Somewhat bready initial nose with hops in initial taste. Do have to remind myself that this is a pilsner, not a pale ale or such stronger taste / nose. Tasty for what it is....will have another when the chance avails itself.

Aroma: Bread and yeast. Appearance: Clear golden with a decent white head. Flavor: Malty with some lemony notes. Palate: light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation, short finish. Overall: Nicely done, but is much more of a Munich Helles than a Pilsner. Need more grassy hop aroma and bitterness.

Low suds, a bit bitter and slightly hoppy. Light golden in color. Just eh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
