Can. Pours a hazy, pale yellow with no head. Not much aroma. Flavor is boring...not much to say about this.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
@ Dewey’s / Crestview Hills KY --- Clear golden amber, rim head, small splotches of lace. Taste is bitter at the opening, followed by sweet malt and hay that isn’t able to overcome the hops, Both move quickly to a lingering bitter finish. Simple, actually good with pizza, but not memorable on its own merits.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From a can. Pours golden with a thick, rocky head. Not much hop aroma, but some. Flavors of sweet pine and vanilla. Sight hop bite at the end. Light mouthfeel. I’m surprised that this isn’t better than it is. I was expecting a more traditional, dry pils with exceptional hop bite. This is slightly sweeter with very little exceptional character. Everything else I’ve tried by Oskar Blues has been outstanding. This is pretty ordinary.

Pilsener borderin on a lager, lots of cereal notes minus the crisp hops of the German style. Pale golden with small creamy head. If you like macro brew, you’ll like this.

355 ml can from Ales By Mail, served in a shaker glass. Pale yellow, pretty clear, with a small off-white head. Good lacing. Moderately grainy on the nose, notes of white bread, wet hay, and a light grassy hoppyness. Great balance in the mouth: first a decent sweetness, sugary malts, and than a pleasent and persistent herbal bitterness, quite dry. Not overly carbonated, light to medium body and slightly creamy texture. Above average pilsen, nice!
