1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
What the heck is this crap? I wouldn’t give this to anyone. A High Life wrapped in a craft brew can. Skip it. The only thing cool about this beer is the can design. Flat taste, zero flavor, sad finish. Skip. it.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from Ales By Mail. It pours lightly hazy yellow with medium foamy white head. The nose is soft, sweet pale malt, creamy, white bread, cereal and mild spice. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, doughy, grainy, straw and sugary cereal with a dry finish. Medium body and prickly carbonation. Simple, but well executed and refreshing.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can: Bright, vibrant straw-yellow with mild haziness. Quickly settling white cap leaves a few lines of lacing on its way down the glass. Aroma is more sweet than bitter. Huge corn presence. Corn-o-rama. Some sweet bread, sweet pilsner malt, & sweet corn. Grains. Hops are lighter than expected for a pilsner; a hint of musty earthiness, but they are tertiary at best. Sweet corn up front in the flavor, too. Hops come rushing in quickly, though; earthy, musky, & surprisingly bitter. Somewhat floral aftertaste as the bitterness subsides. Lingering notes of corn, sweet grains, pilsner malt, & clumpy yeast.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear gold with a white head. The aroma is spicy hops and a touch of bready malt. The flavor is similar, a little thin and has a nice crisp finish. Not bad.

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Beer snobs tend to forget that there are several different varieties of beers out there... As I read most of these reviews I notice that people basically don’t like Pils, because its not an IPA or a Stout, and that is the reason for the low rating. So, for a pilsner this is not half bad. It is light and very refreshing. It has a slight hint of caramel and a floral flavor. It has a slight bitterness but it is easy to miss. I enjoyed this and would drink more of it, more so in the summer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz can into a pint glass.
A: Pours a mildly hazy straw color. The head is two fingers high, and bone white in color. Retaining fairly, it leaves behind splotchy lacing patches on the glass.
S: The hops bring gentle kisses of lemon, grass, and lemongrass, melding with the crackery malt quite well. It’s aromatically simple, sure, but it at least smells like a good pilsner. And that’s all I care about here.
T: It starts with a healthy dose of bitter, grassy, lemony hops. There’s a subtle suggestion of peachy flavor on the back end to go with its malty surge. This really hits the spot - the only thing to nitpick is that it opens a hair too bitterly.
M: Oh yeah. I love how light this is on the palate. There’s a light finishing sweetness to indicate one should slow down drinking this. Well carbonated.
O: One of the better ’Murican-made pilsners out there, I think. Not much finesse here, just a really drinkable and refreshing beer. Gimme more!
