Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Pours a bright yellow with lasting white head. Very little aroma but a hint of hops. A bit of biscuity sweet malt is balanced by a mellow hop bitterness. Perfect carbonation and body for a pilsner. Crisp, fairly clean finish, with just enough residual hop and malt flavours

Very smooth - as pils should be. Mild and nuanced. Grassy, floral notes from the hops with a little sweetness. True to the class but not overly exciting.

2015-08-21. Lightly hazy dark yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma is moderate, pale malt, mild grassy hops. Flavour is similar, sweetish pale malt grain core, lightly grassy. Smooth average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Quaffable but not particularly exciting. Can from Ye Old Spirit Shop, Frederick, MD.

Can pour. Pours a golden yellow with a one finger head. Nice pilsener taste with a little hop sweetness.

Nice golden full body. Head hung around for several minutes kind of like a milkshake topped with whipped cream. Excellent palate, right amount of carbonation and smooth finish. Tastes of light nut, honey, and flowers. I'm normally not a big Pilsner fan but this would be my choice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Boathouse in Bethany. Tough to get much aroma in the plastic cup! Is a clear straw color. Taste of some corn, malt and a touch of hops. Very pleasant pils. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours golden clear, lacy head. Rich floral aroma. Taste of floral hops and malt, a hint of honey. A delicious pilsner.

On tap at Buffalo Wild Wings. Pours clear golden. Aroma of corn and malts. Easy drinking, not a fan of pilsners, but this was a okay beer for me.

Oskar Blues Pilsner is a great micro brew beer. It has everything I would want from a Pilsner from the golden color to the sweet aroma. This beer is light and refreshing but still has the complexity you want in any micro brew. This is a great Pilsner I would recommend it to anyone.

Appearance was clear yellow with creamy lasting white 1 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are floral, soft spicy hops with a touch of corn sweetness. Taste are soft floral, sweet herbal hops upfront then the mild sweet corn middle. The lager yeasts clean up the finish with a distinct water profile fit for the style. Palate was smooth creamy CO2 with light body, then a lasting balanced wonderfully clean lager finish. Overall a superb Pilsner, try it.

As someone else said, the only thing I liked about this beer was it’s nice appearance. I tasted cardboard, gasoline, and grapefruit. There was some hoppiness, very thin body, and probably the lowest score of any beer I’ve rated. In fairness, Oskar Blues does make some really fine beers, but this is not one of them.
