4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This only rated 3.12 as of October, 2012. This makes me suspect that either this stuff is incredibly inconsistent or people just donít like a good American craft lager. This is rather more Pilsner-like than most American brews billed as such but still is very much from the country itís brewed in. Itís a nice golden yellow w/ a scant but lasting head of fine bubbles. The nose is rather brighter than Iíd expect from a Pilsner but quite nice w/ loads of floral character. Flavor too is nice and clean w/ a firm citrus-rind bitterness in the finish. There is a touch of sweetness but fine carbonation helps keep it perfectly drinkable. There is really a lot to like here and a good deal of complexity for a lighter brew. This isnít really a Pilsner--meaning it does not taste like a European pils--but it gives you pretty much exactly what youíd want out of such a beer.

Floral malts, grains... semi-metallic aroma. Fizzy mouthfeel.. a little bitter, pretty good.

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2015 As grandma used to say, "If it looks like skunk piss, smells like skunk piss, and tastes like skunk piss itís probably Coors". This did not, so it is something else. What I can deduce for sure is: it IS NOT Blatz. For that give yourself a beating about the face, chest, neck & breast and call me in the morning. Or not.

can pour produces a slightly hazy yellow color with a filmy white head..clears up when held up to light..nose is biscuity with some toasted malt presence..light bodied for sure..not overly spicy or hoppy..last time I had this it tasted much better from the can..not the greatest fan of the style..overall ok

One step above a decent, generic pilsner. Doesnít have the Noble hops bite finish. I would be happy to drink this one again if I couldnít find Sierra Nevadas pilsner and I was jonsiní for the style.

12oz can. pale golden color, almost clear, very lightly hazy. head is frothy white, decent at first, quickly diminishing. aroma of wet cardboard, very light spice from the hops. flavor is a bit thin, clean, light spice from the hops, bit more cardboard. actually pleasant in a summer beer kind of manner. could drink this regularly as a thirst quencher.

Ratebeer Odense Summer Gathering 2015. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Bready malt aroma with spicy-herbal hops. Sweet malty flavour with herbal hops and a citrus note. Very clean, and quite American, but still definitely a classic pilsner

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from Whole Foods in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is corn, husk musk, slightly molded bread, biscuits. Taste is crisp... slightly bready, maybe some lemon. Not great but as my friend Aaron Martin said "it tastes like a better version of Budweiser."
