Our first lager produced with the 20 bbl brewhouse. This pilsner is a clear golden color. Four additions of Saaz hops lend a spicy-floral hop component.

Can poured into pilsener glass. Clear straw gold, effervescent, dense creamy white foam leaves raccoon-tail lace rings. Powerful, unpleasant aroma… sulfur and cooked cabbage, grainy, farty, sugary. OB needs some preemptive DMS control.Grainy and corny taste, toasted sourdough, strong sugary notes; pretty rough around the edges... and everywhere in between as well. At least it has a thousand times more personality than the bigbrewer American pisswater lagers. Medium body with some CO2 tingle, watery finish and metallic aftertaste.

Crisp og typeriktig pilsner med fin strågul farge. God karamellfylde som hever den over gjennomsnittet. Lettdrikkelig uten unoter.

Just got curious about the beer on tap. Had one as a wild car @ Peloton, Oslo. Cud not say first what I really liked about it. But realized it has a nice tart taste and a delightful smell of apricot. The color is golden/copper. The tone is a bit hazy. A great thirst quencher after work. Nice job from Oskar Blues. Hopefully they can ship over more goods.

Can. Pours a clean gold with a thin head and aromas of corn and meh. This tastes a lot like most of the macros that come from outside of the U.S. I imagine myself on a beach in some random Latin American country with my toes in the sand asking for "Otra chela, por favor" or something along those lines. What I am greeted with, like this, is nothing special... kind of a clean and boring pilsner with a cornish edge to it... I’m not sad that it is boring and tastes oddly of corn even thought it says it isn’t a corn beer... whatever. I’m on vacation. I smile, tip nicely and move on with my day...

355 ml can courtesy of Gunfryd. Unclear yellow/golden body with a rather small white head. Aroma is mostly malt and grain with a hint of grassy hops. Flavor is sweet, quite mild with grain and malt, hint of grass and flowers, moderate bitterness. Medium body and a bit more pronounced bitterness in the aftertaste. Decent pilsner, but not a personal favorite by me.

Can from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. A slight haze. Nose - light sweetcorn and lemon. Taste - green beans, more sweetcorn and what seems like a bit of saaz spice. Some herbs or grass on the finish. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a great example of the style.

355ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Close to clear golden body. A decent white head reduced to a remaining patch layer. Spotty lacing. Smell of peaches and pale malts. Moderate peachy flavours, honeyed fruits, and a backdrop of grainy malts. Mild hopped fruity ending. Soft on the swallow. Just alright (Tromsø 26.08.2016).

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2016 Can to glass - rich yellow, slight tint, thick coarse off white head, spotty lace. Aroma of sweet grains, sweet corn, grasses. Fuller in body than expected... more corn, some apple, a hoppy edge, celery. Not a terrible version of the style but not especially inspired or creative.
