Draft. Hazy gold with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus and wheat. Taste seems to add a touch of honey. Crisp medium palate. This is amazingly easy to drink.

On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours yellow gold with a clinging white head and a sourish fruit aroma. There is a light-bodied fruity wheat flavor with a slightly tart finish.

12oz can. Clear filtered yellow-tan body. Respectable white head. Really didn’t nail it here. Bright, with some borderline off notes in the aroma. I guess it is an American Wheat, the odd, unperfected style that it is. Cheap, grainy aroma seems odd to me for OB, but really more of a clean, bright feel letting the oddness shine. Was hoping for a Wit, got a US Wheat.

Sample. It poured a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of grains, bread, crackers and honey. The taste was similar to the aroma with lemon, hay, fruits, grains and crackers. Ok.

spiced wheat - somewhere between an American wheat and a wit. Crisp and clean with good flavor and a sharp fruity aroma and finish.

Wife’s draft at their Brevard Brewery served in a rocks glass; fairly clear golden color with white head. Aroma notes of banana, wheat malt sweetness, citrus and faint spice. Taste adds bread, coriander, clove, lemon, some pepper and light bitterness. Light body, moderate-low carbonation, crisp with sweet Belgian yeasty finish. Pretty straight forward wit with some character.
