Draft. Hazy gold with a huge white head. Prototypical aroma and taste of banana and clove but adds a nice dash of citrus on both ends. Slightly dry crisp palate with good carbonation. Very enjoyable.

Pour on tap, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, biscuit, some big white fruit, pear, slight spice into a bit of yeast, hints of grain, touch of slight clove. Taste was a mix of bread, dough, yeast into a bit of spice, slight clove into some white fruit, touch of pear, finishing sweet, slightly spicy.

Keg at BD Shepherd’s Bush tap takeover, London. It pours a hazy straw color with a medium white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy and yeasty, with notes of bread dough and hay. Taste is yeasty, fruity, with notes, or orange peel, grass, hay, biscuit, banana, yeast esters. Finishes lightly estery, peppery and dry. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, quite good

On Tap classic hazy light yellow with full but quickly receding white head. Aromas and flavors were fairly moderate on the traditional German yeast notes. Slightly "Americanized" but enough of those clove and banana flavors to tell you that this isn’t your fathers "American Wheat" Very tasty and refreshing, a little sweet.

Brewdog Shoreditch. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Sweet esters, bubblegum and banana mixes well with sweet floralness. Mild wheaty malt before a crispy finish. Banana linger. Pretty sweet Hefe, but tasty.

Keg at BD Sheps B. It pours cloudy light orange with a small white head. The nose is sweet, big banana character, clove, grassy, perfumed, custard apple, wheat and candy. The taste is crisp, grassy bitterness, bruised banana, clove rock, doughy, wheat, mind citrus, candidates sugar, pear drops, apple and cat litter with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Too drying on the finish IMO. Not a whole lot to it, but fairly inoffensive.

Keg at Brewdog Shep’s Bush. Translucent yellow straw coloured pour with a thin lasting white head aroma is plastic banana. Harsh alcohol, tangy citrus, flavour is composed of tart wheat grains, banana and clove yeast derived esters. Palate is light moderate carbonation. Little tart . bit disappointing.

16 oz can. Pours slightly hazy dark yellow with a medium fizzy white head that goes to a thin film that leaves little lacing.

The aroma is bready malts with some banana.

The flavor is sweet bready yeasty malts with a little banana. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some spritzy carbonation.

Overall, an OK hefe. Very yeasty and bready with light banana.
