Iím a little bit confused here... Can it be any better than this? I doubt that!
Pitch black beer with a creamy, brownbeige, head.
Nose: Licorice, coffee, roasted malt, brown sugar, vanilla ice cream, earthy hops, caramel and dark chocolate.
Taste: reamy, soft taste. Licorice, espresso, fudge, dark chocolate, dark roasted coffebeans and sweet brown sugar.
Full body and light carbonation.
An awesome beer!

Can. There was a road in my home city that was just the smoothest stretch for skating along. It was usually on my route home after a good session. The calm night air, the minimal resistance between wheels and asphalt. Striking. This is more or less that memory in liquid.

This is a great beer! Pours black with brownish head! Smells malts and chocolate. Taste caramel, chocolate, malts with balanced bitterness. It's a very complex taste. You can feel high alcohol content but that is well balanced with creamy malts! Overall it's a very nice dark beer! Simply wow! Favorite+

355ml Can from Brewdog Edinburgh (£9.00):
This beer was a pretty impressive offerings from Oskar Blues yet again. Drinkable, and more importantly enjoyable, throughout with plenty of flavour packed into the can whilst managing to keep a good balance too. For an imperial stout I didnít think the beer was overly complex but I did like it, I just donít think itís one Iím likely to return to all that often since there are several other American brewed imperial stouts out there that I prefer to this one.

Beautiful dark black motor oil look out of can. Frothy tan head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, black coffee. Taste is same. Sweet malt, bitter coffee, chocolate bitter finish. Lively carbonation slick, creamy mouthfeel. Amazing stout!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: Huge amounts of roasted malts with some marshmallow; bitter dark cacao. Appearance: Inky black pour with a foamy mocha tuft that fades into a slim skin. Flavor: Big roast up front with marshmallow impressions thereafter, leading to a very bitter cacao finish. Palate: Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, very bitter finish. Overall: A pretty intense beer, but not the most enjoyable IS for me.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Poured from a 12 oz. can into a tulip glass.
Aroma- HMMM, coffee, caramel and malt. fantastic.
Appearance- Looks like I just poured my old engine oil into a glass (thatís actually a compliment)
Taste- The best Russian Imperial Stout I have ever had. I could also say the only RIS that I cared for. But this awesome tasting.
Palate- A heavy brew with moderate carbonation, has a creamy texture and a good alcohol feel after the swallow.
Overall- World class, I now know why people flip over this beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can into a shaker showing big black center with very thin coffee brown rims.
The nose shows a lot of roasted malts and big notes of dark chocolate & toasted coffee bean.
The palate is highly carbonated and full bodied. The first impression shows a lot of dark chocolate notes with a slight lactose sweetness. Some small hints of bourbon & smoke here and there. A clear and strong espresso background permeates throughout the whole beer. The alcohol appears slightly on the finish but overall dominant on the coffee and chocolate flavors. Dark chocolate bitterness on the finish. Overall, this is a really nice after meal beer.

Sampled this in Idaho. Very thick heavy beer. nice stout character, but has a different taste that hits up front. Grows on you after a couple drinks. worth drinking again
